I’m usually not a huge fan of visiting new vets as I have had some unpleasant experiences in the past that haven’t sat well with me. However, my cat was referred to Vale Referrals in October last year and I couldn’t have imagined a better vets to handle my cats’ case. When we visited last year, the entire team were incredibly accommodating and kind, taking the time to answer any questions or concerns we had and they took special care of my cat Mila. We visited again today for a review and we experienced the exact same service from the team. The care they show for your animals is exactly what you love to see from a vet and it put any concerns I had at ease instantly. A special thanks to Fiona Glen, the cardiologist, who has seen my cat on both occasions, as well as the nurse who was assisting today (whose name unfortunately slips my mind, apologies). I would highly recommend this practice to anyone and I look forward to seeing them for the next review! :)

Our vet referred our beautiful 13 year old lurcher to Vale for an endoscopy after she had been treated for a suspected stomach ulcer which did not seem to be improving after a while. Ruby's endoscopy was followed by a CT scan which revealed a mass (adenocarcinoma) in her small intestine needing to be removed. The operation was successful and our gorgeous girl - soon to be 14 - is doing well and was running in the sunshine earlier this week. We paid several visits to Vale during Ruby's treatment and met quite a number of staff in various roles. Every single one of them was kind, polite and really seemed to care. I would really want to mention a number of staff we met but especially a few people. Our specialist Vaclav was attentive, very patient with all our questions, explained everything carefully ensuring we understood and was gentle and kind to Ruby. Michal, the surgeon was really excellent too. Jemima, one of the assistants was lovely to Ruby as was Zoe. As for Kayleigh, who did our handover after Ruby's week at Vale - I think Ruby would have willingly stayed with her! We know that we have only bought our girl a bit of time - she is not cured, but the people at Vale have made our situation easier by being knowledgable, skilled, gentle, and above all kind - both to us and to our dog! Thank you again Vale for taking such good care of our Ruby!

We were referred to Vale by our amazing vet who picked up a heart murmur on our beloved Jack Russell Lloyd. Our Clinician Anna Bebe was so kind and understanding as she could see both myself and my husband were anxious and upset when we arrived, she reassured us, took amazing care of Lloyd and gave us the best prognosis we could of wished for. Thank you Anna and all the team at Vale 🥰

Our British Shorthair, Vince, was referred to Vales after suspected leg perthes leaving him limping and in a lot of pain. Dr Dave had us in for a referral appointment, and was able to operate the same day on our precious boy. Dr Dave was very informative, kind and reassuring and performed an amazing surgery. Vince stayed overnight after his op and was very well cared for. He came home feeling a little sorry for himself, but has gone on to make a fantastic recovery with the neatest scar I’ve ever seen - he’s back to the cheeky monkey cat he was before his illness. The reception staff were polite, welcoming, and always very helpful, both in person and on the phone. We’re really pleased with Vince’s recovery and want to say a huge thank you to all the staff at Vales who have helped our little 2 year old kitty get his mojo back.

Amazing service from Vale Vets. Our young dog (Enfys) was here after ingesting a huge overdose of Metacam whilst been looked after by our dog sitter when we were on holiday in Cyprus. She was her for 7 days as a in patient. Phil from Vale was incredible, he kept us informed and did everything he could for Enfys. We didn’t think she would survive but with the fantastic care from all the team, Enfys is still with us. We just can’t thank the team enough, not just for Enfys’ care but for the care and consideration they gave us too. Thank you to all the team and we would highly recommend.

My Staffy was referred here from my local vets. Travelled an hour and a half to get there and can’t recommend the place enough. My boy saw Lucie who was amazing from start to finish. The reception staff were also very friendly and helpful. Unfortunately our dog was diagnosed terminal after a short but agressive illness. The care he recieved from Lucie and the nurses there was outstanding. Every concern I had was listened to and Odin was made to feel very comfortable there. My boy has since passed however I wouldn’t change a thing about his care. Thankyou Vale Referrals.

I can't speak highly enough of the care and loving attention given to our puppy Rufus after he was involved in a RTA and broke his leg. Sara sent me photographs, text updates and phoned me each day he was in. The surgeon Michal Vlasin is undoubtedly very skilled and also took time in his busy schedule to call me and explain what was happening. The post operative handover was comprehensive and backed up with written instructions. The overnight staff also sent me a text to tell me how he was settling... it was an all round amazing service and helped massively with the trauma of a damaged puppy! Thank you all so very much and a bit woof of thanks from Rufus!
