I genuinely don’t even know where to begin. After multiple vets had told me that my dog’s pain was not real, after being told it was behavioural and ignored I cannot thank The Renew Centre enough. From the moment we met the team, I knew we were in good hands. Since he’s been in pain, Chip has been less tolerant of handling (of course!) Also had some hands on vets which has made things a little worse. Charlotte (one of the vets) was incredible and read Chip’s body language. She approached him side on, completely hands off and let him do things at his own pace. This meant Chip had a stress free experience, and for that I am so unbelievably grateful. Rachel & her team… wow. The knowledge of this place is absolutely insane. The amount of depth they go into, and they share the knowledge with you! Nothing is gate kept. I highly recommend The Renew Centre. If your dog has pain, they’ll find it. From me and my dog, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Yesterday was the first time I’ve ever felt listened too 🥺💖

We had our first visit today and I’m honestly blown away by the service and expertise the renew centre offers. When pepper was diagnosed with IVDD by our usual vet, with little evidence or imaging to back it up, my friend recommended renew and i booked in as soon as I could… I’m really glad I did, because from the initial assessments and look at scans today, it doesn’t appear to even be IVDD, and the weeks of strict crate rest & medication the vet prescribed pepper weren’t what she needed. Rachel and Emma were so thorough when checking pep over, she had a full CT scan and ultrasound, then treated with chiropractic, acupuncture and shockwave therapy, all whilst under GA, so no stress for pepper. All the ladies who treated her were amazing and so knowledgeable. I really appreciate their honesty and how upfront they are about costs and expected rehab & results, they answered any questions I had and I left feeling really reassured that pepper is in good hands. I was able to stay with pep pretty much the entire time, which whilst a little emotional and scary for me, I was so relieved to be able to see pep in and out of her sedation 🩷 All the staff here are so lovely and welcoming - Abigail was the first person I met and she immediately put me at ease. I’m sure the vet nurse was called Lucy that stayed with pepper most of the day (sorry if I’ve misremembered your name!) I really appreciated her attentive and gentleness towards pepper, it’s so reassuring when animal care providers actually do treat your pet like their own. Thank you all, you’re awesome 🩷

Thank you so much to the whole team for your beyond 5 star service yesterday for Ink with his CT scan, ultrasound and chiropractic treatment. Everything about his whole experience could not have been handled more gently or considerately. In the 5 and a half hours we were there, we always had at least 1 and often 2 members of staff with us. Carol even sent me a photo of Ink in the CT scan! This was the only time I wasn't with him - I noted there were 4 staff looking after him in the scan. I just cannot thank you enough for everything you've done and look forward to seeing you in 2 weeks for Ink's follow up chiropractic appointment. Obviously Ink can't say thank you personally but he's really bouncy today (we're trying to give him a quiet day!) and is obviously feeling great!

I was recommended the Renew Centre by many dog owners who have had excellent care through them for their reactive dogs. Although I live in Cornwall I decided to make the mission to go there. I am beyond pleased that we did. From the first contact all staff were incredibly helpful and did the utmost to explain every step. This helped so much to put my mind at ease. Having a reactive dog is always stressful but I was not judged and neither was my dog. They are a wonderful team and I cannot recommend them highly enough. If you are considering going to see them with your dog then do not hesitate. It will be so worth it. Thank you so much to everyone at the renew centre.

Bess received the usual wonderful care and attention that Rachel and Emma always offer. She is a very highly strung collie who is fearful of everyone apart from her immediate family. All of the staff are aware of the individual needs of each dog and are calm and sensitive, adapting any handling, the environment and the treatment accordingly.

My dog Bonnie has been having ongoing hydrotherapy and physiotherapy from an excellent local rehabilitation centre for the past 11 months following her surgery for Legg-Calvé-Perthes disease. All seemed good until a few months ago when both therapists felt that Bonnie had developed a problem in her lumbar region. Both agreed that further investigation was needed and highly recommended the Renew Centre as they have an excellent reputation in the therapy field for their knowledge in this type of medical condition. So, today was Bonnie’s initial assessment with Rachel at the Renew Centre and I’m so glad I decided to do the 2 hour drive to get there. It was so apparent that their entire attention is on your dogs well being, all the staff create a loving safe environment to put your dog at ease and Rachel explains everything in great detail during her assessment. I know that this is just the start of my journey with the Renew Centre but I already feel Bonnie is in very safe experienced hands and feel confident that Bonnie will be receiving the very best treatment. Bonnie was very chilled out following Rachel’s acupuncture today and slept most of the journey back home but I’m sure Bonnie was dreaming of her next Renew visit for her cheesy treats from Carol!

I visited Rachel and her amazing team at the Renew Centre, Uley, Gloucestershire in August 25 with my beloved sprocker Ziggy. He had shown intermittent lameness in a front leg put down to a variety of causes but not resolved. Having excelled in agility for 4 years, I asked our community for advice and the Renew Centre came out tops. It was a 2hr 45min drive from Sussex, but worth every second. The continuity of care, explanations, and involvement throughout a full day of investigations was something I had not seen at a veterinary establishment before. This is the best chance of avoiding a life on anti inflammatory drugs that Ziggy has, and we are hoping for a good outcome.
