How does my practice get access?
Claim your practice listing and complete Verification. Once your practice is Verified, you can add the software to your account.
Does my practice need to be Verified?
Yes. Price intelligence is for Verified practices. Verification checks your practice against the RCVS register and the accreditations shown on its listing.
Where do the comparison prices come from?
From the prices practices publish on their own websites across the UK, which Vet Verified reads, checks against the page and refreshes regularly. Branches that share one price list count once, so a large group cannot skew a figure on its own.
Which practices are we compared with?
Practices near your branch, practices in your town, county and district, and practices across the UK. Each price is compared with the same service for the same kind of pet and, for dogs, the same weight category.
Does this make us CMA compliant?
No. Price intelligence checks your published price list against the 36 items in Schedule 1 of the CMA’s Veterinary Services Market Investigation Order 2026, their names and the standard pet weight categories, and shows what looks missing, unclear or out of date. It is not legal advice or a compliance audit. Your practice remains responsible for the accuracy of its prices and for meeting its obligations.
Can we correct a price you show for our practice?
Yes. You can confirm or correct the prices shown on your Vet Verified profile, so pet owners see the same prices on your profile as on your practice website.
Do you tell us what to charge?
No. Price intelligence shows where your published prices sit beside other practices’ published prices. Decisions about what to charge stay with your practice.
Can other practices see our prices in the app?
The app only uses prices that practices have already published on their own websites. It does not show any price a practice has not made public.
Do I need to agree to buy anything?
No. Starting a claim for your practice listing does not create a software subscription. We’ll explain the features and price before you decide.
