We award Verified status only after checking the practice's RCVS registration, accreditations and listing manager.

    We check the RCVS register.

    Before a practice can become Verified, we confirm that it appears as current on the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons' public register.

  2. 02

    We check your accreditations.

    We review evidence of the accreditations your practice holds, then explain them on your listing in language pet owners can understand.

  3. 03

    Someone at your practice manages the listing.

    A named person at the practice is responsible for keeping its details up to date. They can use the practice dashboard and contact their account manager for support.

How verification works.

You can complete the process online and by email. There are no site visits, surprise inspections or calls while you are with a client.

    Tell us about your practice, team and standards. The form usually takes less than 30 minutes, and you can pause and return when it suits you.

    We complete the checks.

    We check public registers and your accreditation documents, then email you if anything is missing. You can keep seeing clients while we work.

    Your Verification goes live.

    Once we approve the verification, we add the tick to your practice page and search listings that day. You also receive a login for updating your practice details.

    We review your practice each year.

    We review your practice and check its credentials each year. If an accreditation has lapsed, we email you and give your team time to renew before changing the public listing. We can also add newly verified accreditations.

What does it cost to be verified?
Verified membership costs £250 plus VAT per branch each month, paid annually. Early adopters pay £125 plus VAT per month for their first year, paid annually, and receive a seat on our Practice Advisory Council. See our pricing page for what is included and the price of optional software.
How long does verification take?
Verification usually takes 7 to 14 days. The application takes about 30 minutes. We then check the RCVS register and your accreditation certificates. Your Verification tick appears on your public listing on the day we approve your practice.
Do you do site visits or surprise inspections?
No. We check public registers, the certificates you provide and the information managed by your practice. Verification is a document check, not an on-site audit.
What happens if one of our accreditations lapses?
We review every practice and check its credentials each year. If an accreditation has lapsed, we email you and give you time to renew it before changing the public listing.
Is there paid placement above verified practices?
No. Verified practices appear above unclaimed listings. We do not offer featured or sponsored positions, and we do not sell the top position in search results.
We're a multi-site group. Can we verify several practices at once?
Yes. Contact us and we’ll handle the group as one application. We verify each practice separately against its own RCVS registration, but you can provide the information for every site together.
