I have used this Veterinary practice since moving from Scotland. It was recommended by my Scottish vet. We have been well attended to for the past 14 years. I would highly commend them.

I recently visited with my dog for an ear infection and couldn't be happier with the care we received, the whole team is brilliant, friendly and honest. The vet was really nice and incredibly knowledgeable, and took the time to explain everything clearly. They made sure I fully understood exactly what to do before I left, which I appreciated. Excellent service from start to finish. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring vets

Absolutely fantastic service! Unfortunately, the vet I had been with for many years let me down, and the service had become very lacking and had left my cat in a bad way. Due to this, I was recommended Woodcroft vets, who have a very good name. My local branch had no appointments, but as they have six branches within the local Stockport, Greater Manchester area, they offered me an appointment here at the Offerton Branch, and let me say, WOW, what a difference! Honestly, I wish I had known sooner... they were all FANTASTIC, and I don't say that easily. The veterinary surgeon we saw was Amy, and she was amazing. She listened and took note of everything, which was great because there was quite a lot of detail I needed to explain. She was brilliant, really understanding, and very knowledgeable, which put me at ease because she handled my cat so well. She immediately got a nursing assistant to help while she examined him. She was very thorough, and I can't praise her enough. The nursing assistant was lovely, and they were very understanding of what he had been through and that he was in pain. Amy organised getting him booked in for a procedure under sedation and went through all the costs and details, as she understood how difficult that can be for people. This was a welcome change, as my previous place didn't consider that at all. The reception staff were all great at getting me information. Also, the vet gave him the first dose of a painkiller at my request, as it can be difficult with him. Then, something I've not experienced: once his medication was ready, the receptionist went through each individual medication, explaining it and showing me the measurements. She even gave me a printout of the information for one of them. Honestly, it was a totally different experience from what I've gotten used to at Vets4pets, who, unfortunately, have done the bare minimum and then even less, hence the move. Anyway, I would HIGHLY recommend them to anyone. They are worth every penny because they care about sorting out the animal and not leaving them in pain. They showed real care and attention, and I realised that for the last few years, we were in a conveyor belt system at the other place, which wasn't as obvious until something bad happened. Do yourself a favour and come to somewhere that cares and does the right thing by your furry member of the family. I'm glad I did; I just regret that I didn't do it a lot sooner.

When our senior dog became suddenly ill last weekend we were given an immediate appointment at the bird hall lane hospital branch. James Farrell not only treated her with knowledge and compassion but also ourselves who were in a distressed state. Diagnosis and treatment were accurate and now working well. She has since been reviewed by our lovely regular team at the Offerton branch by our usual vet Charlie who again has great knowledge and advice for ongoing treatment, the whole team have cared so well for her for over 13 years. Thank you.

We have used Woodcroft Offerton for 15 years, during this time we have been extremely grateful and appreciative for the advice and treatment staff have given. We are currently attending more frequently because of age related issues regarding our Labrador, and the whole team have been compassionate and caring, whilst prescribing medication that has really helped with her condition. Thankyou to an amazing bunch of people for all your dedication to our pets.

I took my two kittens for their first visit to Woodcroft vets. They had to receive their second vaccinations and have a full check up. The staff at Woodcroft were so kind and friendly I would recommend this practice to anyone. Tia was the vet who dealt with us and she was brilliant. She couldn’t do enough for us and shared some valuable tips on how to look after the kittens at home. The visit to Woodcroft was a very positive experience and I had no trouble giving it a ten out of ten score.
