I recently had to take my pet rat to village vets and called them up and managed to get a same day appointment. Sadly my baby had neurological issues so we had to let him go... But genuinely could not praise them enough. They gave me the time to say goodbye, made sure he was in as little pain as possible and also took him in the bed that I gave him so he had the smell of his brothers so he knew they were there in some way. I cannot recommend village vets enough for any domestic rodent health matters

We’re so grateful to Meghan for the incredible care she gave our mini macaw 🦜. She went above and beyond to help us diagnose the issue, taking the time to explain everything clearly and make sure we felt reassured throughout the process. Thanks to her expertise and dedication, our bird has now fully recovered. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better vet, Thanks Meghan — highly recommend!

Excellent service received from Vet Faith, Veterinary Nurse Abigail and Nicola. This tremendous trio really delivered and worked as a team in helping Guide Dog Jasper who i bought in because of consuming some coconut shell. It was a baffling one but the treatment and care they demonstrated was exceptional in getting the right advice and treatment for Jasper. There was were a real sense of teamwork and all involved didn’t just care, they really did care for not just Jasper but also us. They were professional but were also blessed with a great sense of appropriate humour. They thoroughly deserve this recognition as a credit to Village Vets Berkhamsted. Well done and thank you once again.

The best vets - if you have guinea pigs Harriet is the best vet to help and look after them. Very caring, expertly knowledgeable and trust that she knows what’s best.

I dont have the time to go through everything but let me run through a few things. Harriet, the head vet... amazing and such talent. She is the best in the country with ought a doubt. My dogs mean the world to me and she is the only person I will listen to (and the vets she hired). The nurses are bloody amazing and are full of care and imo have more expertise than vets in other surgeries. The front of house, receptionists made such a fuss of my girl she loves them all. I moved down here more years ago than I care to mention with experience in working dogs/sporting dogs and sought out a good country no nonsense vet and this is my go to. PERFECTION! A few months later and my girl into a 3 mile walk

After being highly recommended by pets at home I was extremely happy with the specialized care my Guinea pigs have received from the Village vets. After preparing to say goodbye to 3 of my babies, they have all managed to be saved by the incredible care received ❤
