I wholeheartedly recommend this veterinary clinic. My dog Lulu used to have an aversion to strangers, which made vet visits quite challenging. Thanks to the patience, empathy, and professional approach of the entire team, Lulu gradually began to feel safer, and her attitude has significantly improved. The veterinarian showed great understanding and calmness, which made the examination smooth and stress-free. Special thanks also go to the ladies at the reception – they are incredibly kind, understanding, and always ready to help. This is a place where animals are truly cared for, and pet owners can feel confident that their companions are in good hands. Thank you to the entire team – I highly recommend this clinic to all pet owners.

This is the first bad review I have ever left. After moving from a different town I decided to join Daventry vets based on the positive reviews. However, this practice is dishonest in order for financial gain. My dog has a skin allergy and needs ongoing medication. I have taken him here more than once, and on both occasions I have been sat waiting past my appointment time despite the fact that both rooms were noticeably free. Although annoying, I would usually only see this as a minor inconvenience. However, as mentioned above, this practice is willing to lie on legalities in order to gain from their clients financially. I went in one afternoon to get a repeat prescription - the lady on reception firstly kept looking at me as if I was an inconvenience by being there (before we had even spoken). When she gave me the prediction, I asked her is 3 months was the maximum they could give. She told me it was ILLEGAL To provide more than 3 months on a repeat, therefore Simba would need to visit every 3 months going forward. And not only do you pay for the fee to see the vet once a month, but they also charge you £20 send you the prescription. After googling this, I only saw a limit of 6 months so decided to go another vet. My new vet is not only happy to give a 6 month prescription, but does also does not charge me £20 to be able to receive my prescription. As much as I appreciate businesses need to make money, it is concerning that this practice is happy to use provide incorrect information for financial gain.

Phoned on the morning that our dear pet Schnauzer needed to be put to sleep. I was very tearful but they were so helpful explaining the procedure and checking I wanted to be present. The vet, the nurse and the receptionist were very professional but caring and my emotions washed off on them. Thanks for making such a sad time be so lovely and allowing me time to say my final goodbye.

Fantastic service!!! we bought 2 kittens (British shorthair) and both of the kittens have had check ups and have both been spayed, the pre and post service was fantastic, very professional yet friendly service, and also a fantastic job done on both kittens, we have had no problems with the operations, and the stitching is some of the best I've seen post op on an animal. Just goes to show that they really do care for the animals in their care. ALL of the staff are fantastic and easy to talk to, also they are happy to go into more details and break down the information so that you understand what's going on... There is no arrogance from them at all, and they are genially down to earth people with a true love & passion for there jobs (hard to find nowadays)..... All I can say to finalise this review / recommendation is,,, thank you for looking after my little babies (Aurora & Freya)....
