Welcome to Martin & Carr Veterinary Practice, your friendly local veterinarian serving Gloucestershire, England, and surrounding areas. Our practice is located in the charming town of Tewkesbury, and you’ll find us nestled in the heart of the community. We are passionate about caring for animals and have been providing compassionate and professional veterinary care for over a decade.

Our practice is run by two partners, Mrs. Alison Carr and Mr. Thomas Carr, both qualified veterinary surgeons with BVMS MRCVS degrees. Together, they boast many years of experience and a commitment to providing excellent animal care. Additionally, we have two highly skilled veterinary surgeons, Mr. James Garland BVSc CertAVP(GSAS) MRCVS and Mrs. Monica Jackson BVSc MRCVS, who support the practice and help maintain the highest standards of care.

At Martin & Carr, we provide a range of services to keep your furry friends healthy and happy. We offer consultations, vaccinations and preventative care, surgeries, dental care, and other treatments. We understand that every animal is unique and deserves personalised care, so we take the time to understand your pet’s needs and develop a tailored treatment plan. We also offer dedicated care for cats, dogs, and small mammals so that you can rest easy knowing your pet is in good hands.

Our facilities are modern and well-equipped, and we pride ourselves on using the latest technology and treatment methods. In addition to our veterinary surgeons, we have a team of experienced and friendly nurses who support pet care and provide additional critical care assistance. We also offer a range of practice interests such as chronic pain management, hospice and end-of-life care, and physiotherapy.

To make it easier for you, we have an online booking system that allows you to schedule appointments with your preferred veterinarian at your convenience. We also offer extended hours, including weekends, to ensure you have access to our veterinary care when you need it.

We know that pets don’t always stick to traditional office hours, so in an emergency, you can rely on us. We have a dedicated telephone line available that operates 24/7 to ensure our veterinary team is always there for you and your pet.
