I have been using this practice for many years for my cats and previously rabbits. Always professional and great with the animals. I definitely recommend them.

Get your prices confirmed by email before attending. We were told one price for a laparoscopic surgery and then offered a discount by the partner mitko for a new procedure, which we agreed. The discount was never applied and when we have asked about this mitko suggested the cost for a surgery was a lot more for the size of dog. This is incorrect and we reconfirmed this by calling the vet and asking for the a quote and they confirmed the price we were told. They also suggested our cost included any consultation fees but now they saying it’s not. With is was the first time using this vet and we will not be returning.

Incredible, couldn't recommend them more! They're working out of a cramped no frills space but the thing that really matters of the knowledge, skill and care of our treasured goldendoodle is there in spades. Simin diagnosed and treated a scary Addisonian crisis including a seamless stay in the 24/7 unit in Woodstock. Mitko has done a keyhole spay and sorted out her teeth at the same time! Pam on reception is incredibly friendly and kind. Every time we go it really feels as though they know their stuff and care personally. A huge thank you to the staff of Medivet East Oxford, we are so grateful. To the parent company, we hope you can invest a few more resources to support their amazing work - it's a wonder how they pull it off in such a tight space!

Their service and staff is amazing but they are too expensive and one of the male vets is so arrogant . He wanted to charge me £1000 for my cat’s XRay . I told him I will go ask other vets if X-ray costs less at theirs . He told me to register my cats with other vets and they blocked me as a client. Other vets were really cheap as their Xray cost was between £350 to £450 I took an other stray sick cat to them and their vet sat on computer and started estimating costs instead of tending to the cat . Cat was in pain but he even didn’t touch the cat but straightaway started estimating the cost So they are bad vets to my cats and me

Used this vet for many years and never had an issue but had a bad experience with this vet hiding costs. Took my dog in see the vet, vet said they would like me to come back (no mention of cost) for a check up. Paid my bill when leaving along with the cost of medication. Went back when the vet asked me to no mention of paying, I thought this was in the previous payment when I paid. I was waiting in reception after the second appointment reception never said anything about paying. Got home and I had a phone call saying that I owe another £49. The vet asked me back was no mention of me having to pay, when I took my dog back for the second appointment he was absolutely fine and if I knew I had to pay I wouldn't I only went back because I thought I'd already paid. Be very careful when the vet asks you to come back.

Magic has been a patient since I got him as a young kitten. He was neutered, had all his vaccinations and booster shots, 2 emergency procedures and hip surgery. He is 13 years young and on his recent visit the veterinary nurse who examined him said to me that for a 13-year old cat, Magic is doing very well. Considering what he went through in his first 3 years, the care he is receiving from Medivet East Oxford is proof that he is keeping fit and healthy together with the love he receives from his cat parent. All together a great combination!
