Medivet - Quarrington

Our border collie Max had an operation. Gaby the vet looked after him very well, as did the nurses on the following up visits. Thank you for your understanding with him as he gets really anxious..

Fantastic staff all of them. Looked after Sirius brilliantly when he swallowed a battery. Matthew and Connor highly recommend and Laura is just brilliant with both my puppies as has Lynette and Rachel always been also. Highly recommend as all staff are dedicated and friendly. Angie really helpful also, helping with all the insurance side of things. So glad this is our vets as you feel your pets are in safe hands. Thanks medivet team

I visited the practice to see the nurse Kate to finish my dog’s vaccine course. She was brilliant. She made me and my dog feel very comfortable as he is quite anxious. She took the time to give him some fuss and treats before hand. Kate is a great asset to the team and I would love to see her again.

Excellent Vets practice! Very friendly and welcoming staff, spacious waiting area and professional. Did not smellier a vets! Gabi the vet was so fantastic with my new puppy and I would fully recommend this veterinary practice.

Amazing vets really went above and beyond when our dog was sick they were In constant contact and got him in to he seen even earlier than they originally said they could which was fast anyway, and made us feel at ease and cared fir him and treated him in a great manner we couldn't have asked fir a better experience and out little boy is all better again back to himself again thanks to their professionalism and urgency to act when needed.

Our dog was in great distress with an injury to his foreleg. The vet was very calming and helpful. We were able to get him seen quickly and they were very kind. He has made a full recovery and we are so grateful for the help and reassurance we were given.

Overall I am very happy with the practice. Front of house are polite and efficient. Matthew is excellent and has provided excellent care for my dog. My only criticism would be alternative vet (should Matthew not be available) seems to be a different person nearly every time. Could we look into cloning Matthew perhaps 🤔

We have moved recently from Herefordshire, we take our dogs to France with us and needed the paperwork for them to travel. I was shocked that the cost for the 2 dogs was double the price , we emailed previous paperwork across to make it easy. The dogs were not even inspected on the visit just microchips scanned. We went again for a booster injections for the dogs. We were kept waiting for 20 minutes despite having an early morning appointment. The vet was extremely good I can't fault them . We will be choosing a new vet.

I took my rabbit here numerous times as he was suffering with recurrent eye infections. Each time he was taken to the back to have his eye flushed, taking about 40 minutes for no apparent reason (my old vets would do it on there on the table in front of me with no issue and be done in 2 mins). On one occasion I was only told after the fact that they were showing a student how to do it (I wasn’t asked for permission for them to do this). Another time resulted in an ulcer in his eye which I then of course had to pay to treat. I have never been so ripped off in my life, with one appointment costing nearly £400. For a rabbit with a weepy eye. The vet even put it through at the wrong price which the receptionist corrected as I fortunately questioned the extortionate price. Not to mention that the vet is incredibly confusing and just bombards you with information the entire time. Have since found a new vet who is far more professional and doesn’t rob me blind.
