Medivet - West Green

Leo had a great experience today. He was greeted warmly by both ladies at reception. They offered treats whilst I filled out the necessary paperwork. Moyen accommodated us very last minute for a nail clipping, she was very knowledgeable and took great care of our boy. Am considering changing pet plan because of the level of service and attentiveness. Thank you again.

Despite seeing negative reviews, I found the surgery very pleasant. The vet that tended Barney, (Olivia) was very chatty, caring and listened to my needs for Barney, he even got a little welcome pack for him. No issues.

We couldn't be happier with the Medivet team who where also available and supported us with our dog who sadly passed away aged 15 this week. The doctors have been very compassionate and helped us making the most difficult decision of our lives. We went here for minor grass seed surgeries. Checkups. Vaccinations, and whenever we was worried about more serious conditions. 🙏🏼🫂🌈🐩❤️‍🩹

We cannot thank West Green Practice enough for the incredible care they've provided for our anxious dog, Leo. After a past trauma at a vet where he was hurt during ear medication, Leo became fearful of any veterinary visit, wanting to run away as soon as we arrived. Recently, he became seriously ill, prompting us to try West Green since it’s conveniently close to home. From our very first visit, the Lady Vet (I’m truly sorry I don’t know how to spell her name correctly) showed exceptional patience and compassion. She spent several minutes working to make Leo feel comfortable, even as he remained anxious and resistant to being examined. Our second visit today was just as impressive. We saw the same vet, and once again, she took her time, demonstrating a lovely and patient approach that helped Leo feel more at ease. To our delight, he even allowed her to touch his ear—a significant step forward! We truly feel there's a light at the end of the tunnel, and we're hopeful that one day he will fully trust the examination process. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team for their compassionate and dedicated care. We greatly appreciate it!

From the moment I arrived at Medivet West Green, I felt truly welcomed. I was greeted by a lovely lady who went above and beyond—she even helped me clean my travel bag after my puppy had been sick. My pup was absolutely spoiled with cuddles, playtime, and treats from everyone at the clinic… she honestly didn’t want to leave at the end of our visit! The vet was clear, patient, and very helpful, explaining everything about her first vaccination and worm treatment in detail. I left with plenty of useful information, and it was so quick and easy to book and pay for her second vaccination. A huge thank you to the whole team for making us feel so welcome, being patient with my toddler while I was in the appointment, and making our first visit such a positive experience. You truly care for both pets and people!

Avoid at all cost. My cat was attacked by another stray cat and I called them and the best slot they could give me was the next day. I took it. Everytime we take our cat there, they keep us waiting minimum 15 minutes. Today was the appointment and I called them to let them know I will be late and if I can bring her in. The receptionist was extremely rude and trying to put all the blame on me and very aggressive. I haven't seen their friendly or helpful side apart from scolding me over the phone. Their attitude was awful and my cat is on healthcare plan, the funny thing the healthcare plan doesn't even cover the emergency health visits. I immediately canceled the plan and I will take her to another vet. Probably all they care about is money, not the pets since they can treat like this.
