Such brilliant empathic expertise. In a quiet, calm environment. Our dog suffered a serious leg injury in January and is now as good as new! We are so grateful to the Southpaw team.

Our young Cockalier Daisy suffered with a Luxating Patella and our vet recommended Bruce and Southpaw to examine her further and then operate. I can't praise the practice highly enough, Bruce, Helen and team have been amazing. Always available to answer questions throughout Daisys recovery. The operation has been successful and she is now about to become an active youngster for the first time in a long time. Thankyou !!!!!

We were referred to Bruce and his team at Southpaws after our dog broke her elbow in three places. She had had surgery somewhere else, which was not successful. On meeting Helen, we were put completely at ease and knew our girl would be in safe hands. Bailee first went for CT scans to discover what was needed and then had surgery to re-address the fracture. We can honestly say we have never found anywhere we trust as much as we do Southpaws. Our dog is very nervous and with it just being a small practice and in such a quiet location there isn’t a lot of noise or too many other dogs around to upset our girl The initial after-care was excellent and Bruce keeps in touch asking for updates and we go in again as and when needed. She’s still not fully recovered and has to have work on her other elbow, but I know she will be so well looked after. I would thoroughly recommend Southpaws

We were referred to Southpaw Vets earlier this year when our sighthound tore her cruciate and needed TPLO surgery. We could not imagine a better place for her to receive the care she needed. The Southpaw team are incredibly knowledgeable, caring, kind, and patient—just genuinely lovely people who are clearly passionate about what they do. The post-op support has also been fantastic, with Bruce and Helen even responding to emails and calls late at night to put our minds at ease whenever we were worried. When she tore the cruciate in her other leg only four months later and needed a second TPLO operation, the team could not have been more empathetic or kind. Thanks to their skill and exceptional care, she is well on her way to recovering from her second surgery and is now the proud owner of two bionic knees! We’re truly grateful for everything Southpaw have done for our girl and we would not hesitate to recommend them!

Our 8 year old beagle recently had surgery on her cruciate ligament. Couldn’t be more grateful to all the staff for looking after her so well. Excellent customer service, even getting back to us in the middle of the night post surgery when we were a little concerned about her. Picture of Lulu post her follow up x-rays looking a little sleepy 😴

Couldn't recommend southpaw enough! They patched up our 6 year old Boston Terrier when she went lame and now it's like she's 3 or 4 again! They didn't just fix her knee, they gave her a new lease of life.. I haven't seen her personality shine through this much in years. On top of doing an amazing job with the surgery, they've been really supportive and giving great advice throughout the recovery. And they worked directly with our insurer, pet plan, so we didn't have to front it ourselves and go through the paperwork which meant we could just focus on getting our little Wednesday better. Been a brilliant experience, start to finish.

Visited today after my cat had a mystery injury to his foot. Swift action by the vet and team has saved his foot and my sanity! Very warm and welcoming, the surgery itself extremely modern and clean. Lots of parking, easy to find. Fantastic aftercare instructions - felt like I'd paid for private hospital care! I love my normal vet but this just felt that little bit special! Fantastic views from the waiting room. Thoroughly recommend.
