From entering the veterinary section to book an appointment, returning later with 2 dogs for treatment, which was carried out with courtesy and politeness. Everything was explained in a most professional way of what was involved. A big thank you very pleased with exceptional service. Would definitely recommend. Thank you

Lovely vets, really nice and pleasant lady on reception, would recommend. They always give my dog a good going over, and show genuine concern if he is ill.

Our family had a very upsetting experience when taking our dog to be euthanised. We were at the practice for over 1.5 hours and left alone for long periods while she was clearly anxious and panting in a very hot room. The vet also referred to her as “he”, which showed a lack of attention to her records. The most concerning part was during the procedure itself, the vet accidentally injected herself and had to leave the room. This left our family trying to restrain our already distressed dog ourselves while waiting for the vet to return. The whole situation felt chaotic and very poorly handled. When we later collected our dogs ashes, the paw and nose prints we were told would be included were missing, meaning we had to return again to collect them, and the paw print itself was very poor quality. For such an emotional moment, the overall experience felt like it lacked compassion and professionalism. As a family we are truly heartbroken and has caused us even more upset to an already upsetting experience

Although generally the care is satisfactory at the vets. The prices of vet bills now is getting out of hand. This year my pet has had a couple of issues and over all has cost probably more than £1000 in vets bills. If it wasn't for my insurance, which is also quite expensive, I would have struggle to have paid and what happens to my pet then? I really feel this is why more animals are being abandoned and less people are homing pets. My parents who always had dogs when I was a child, couldn’t quite believe the prices being charged now in comparison to what they used to be, even with normal inflation. Something certainly needs to be done about prices vets charge these days.

Thank you to Nicky and the team at Vets4Pets for their compassion and care. Nicky took the time to give us a second opinion for our beloved Bonnie and treated her with such kindness and respect. Unfortunately, we made the difficult decision to let Bonnie go, Nicky’s compassion made an incredibly hard time a little easier. A few days later we received Bonnie’s little nose and paw prints in the post along with a sympathy card, such a lovely touch, Thank you.

Lovely service. We booked an appointment at the last minute by WhatsApp and they were so helpful with us. They were also so nice with our dog Thor. It's very convenient to have your vet and pet shop all together, plus lots of parking.

We would like it noted that the service we have always had from the Llanelli Vets4Pets team has been exceptional. We have a dog who can be nervous around dogs and men. Every time we visit the vets, the staff go above and beyond to ensure he gets into the treatment rooms without stress and we are always allocated female vets and nurses. Every member of staff is always so kind and our dog actually enjoys going to the vets! We recently had to take him in for surgery which was a stressful situation (for us all). It was made so much better because of the treatment, consideration and care we received by the team. Rowena was the primary vet and her expertise, experience and skills ensured a smooth experience from start to finish. She went above and beyond to ensure that we had appointments which would decrease any stress for our dog, as well as the morning of the procedure itself. She explained everything thoroughly and kindly and phoned us immediately after to reassure us that everything went well. The help navigating the pet insurance forms has also been much appreciated. We cannot express how grateful we are for such an amazing service and feel so lucky to have the team as our vets. Thank you, you are all amazing! Sally-Anne, Nathan and Guto ❤️

Nicky Townsend is the most professional, skilled and amazing vet, she has treated our beloved Kerry Blue Terrier Alfie for the last 6 years always going the extra mile . Nicky is the most caring vet you could wish to meet and if your pet has the care our dog has received you will think the same. The other staff are all lovely ,compassionate and customer service is excellent. Sadly Alfie who was almost 14yrs old and suffering cancer and other issues was popped off to sleep before pain and other terrible things overtook him. It was carried out calmly earlier this week by Nicky who made the whole awful process bearable , Alfie was calm comfortable being cuddled and just slipped off to sleep peacefully in our arms. All good pet owners can hope for our beloved pets a pain free release. My wife and I can thoroughly recommend Nicky and Vets4Pets llanelli.
