BRINGING YOUR DOG HERE IS A RISK TO THERE LIFE ! LAURA GARDENER NEEDS HER LICENSE REVOKED!! PLEASE PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS VETS!! I DIDNT THINK MY BOY WOULD MAKE IT THREW THE NIGHT AFTER SEEING the vet, Laura Gardener! Yesterday I took my boy to the vets with terrible abdominal pain, upset stomach and withdrawn. Without going into too much detail the vet administered drugs to my dog, informing me it was morphine but it was buprenorphine, which yes is from the opioid family but works differently and has different effects and side effects (would not of accepted this to be administered if I had known! Would have ask for an alternative like MORPHINE which was actually agreed on) and did not weigh my dog before admission (last weighed at the vets 3 years ago on his history, he is 4 years old now!) They are only about the money!!! I told the vets I had arranged with the receptionist to make a payment plan and the vet looked at me like I was dirt and said yes well if you don’t pay it it will go to debt collection! This is before she’s done anything! And not 9months ago I paid +£200 at emergency vets to go back the next day and them tell me to put my Marley down (should not have listened she literally had a prolapsed but would get more money putting her down than fixing her bum) the very next day for almost £500 .. and this woman had the nerve to speak to me about bailiffs! Over a £62 bill (just the consultation she gave buprenorphine to my dog for free as a “good will gesture “ ) and I genuinely believe she did this to hurt my dog more so I’d be back in out of hours hours later. I didn’t go to medivet out of hours I went to a completely different vets. Thankfully Bruce has finally become more alert, and eaten a tiny bit of rice and boiled chicken after not even being able to stand up, let alone eat and drink for the last 23 hours! This will be escalated as far as I can possibly take it with some help I hope to have the vet who saw Bruce loosing her veterinary license, she should not be trusted with people’s family members she was so rough and cold with Bruce honestly disgusting vet!! Medivet should be shut down!!!

An exceptional vet practice. It’s clear how much they value animal welfare, and that care comes through in every interaction. The team are kind, professional, and friendly, and they always take the time to explain options and clear any doubts, going into detail when answering questions. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this practice. Outstanding care from start to finish.

Amazing vets. From our initial appointment and check ups to an emergency when our cat was injured, the whole team have always been wonderful. They’re easy to get hold of and all are friendly. We’re also so grateful to Danny who recently looked after our cat so well.

This has been my main vets since moving from Medivet Woodstock due to moving home. My little Lola was always treated with the utmost care and dignity throughout. I have nothing but positive words for this surgery. Their handling of everything from pet care to insurance claims is second to none. Marta especially has always been so kind and caring to Lola from routine visits until her final one. Thank you so much for everything

We visited Medivet in Wantage last week for a free mobility check for our Maine coon, Charlie. As always, the service from all staff could not be faulted. The waiting rooms are spacious with treats available for both cats and dogs. Charlie seemed at ease with the vet and behaved himself during the appointment! Would happily recommend to all friends and family.

My dog cut his ear and it just wouldn't stop bleeding. He was seen quickly and the team - particularly Jo - went above and beyond to make sure that all was well. Absolute star!

Our cats have always been treated with care and love in their regular check up appointments and when they’ve not been well. Availability for appointments has always been quick. If something isn’t clear they are happy to explain again.
