I have been bringing my dogs to Court Vets for over 5 years and I cannot recommend them highly enough. The entire team is professional, knowledgeable and genuinely caring. What sets them apart is their compassion and empathy - especially when we had to say goodbye to our beloved dog. During that incredibly difficult time, they provided support and understanding that went far beyond medical care. Every visit, whether routine or urgent, has been handled with the same level of kindness and dedication. If you want a veterinary team that treats both pets and owners with true care, this is the place.

I can’t recommend Court Vets in Stanford in the Vale highly enough. I have two dogs, Tia and Baloo, and we have been with this practice since it was Robert Elliott’s many years ago. Tia, my Staffordshire Bull Terrier, was my very first dog and I’ve had her since I was a child, so this practice has genuinely been part of our lives for a very long time. Baloo is my French Bulldog and the biggest drama queen known to mankind! She has IVDD and has had flare-ups over time, but Karen has supported us from the very beginning. She has always guided us in the right direction, reassured us when needed, and made sure Baloo has had the best possible care. Tia was a very healthy dog for many years, then one day she suddenly became extremely unwell — I honestly thought I was losing her. Karen immediately put me at ease and explained that Tia had pyometra and that it could be treated with surgery. We went ahead with the procedure and Tia recovered brilliantly. A few years later, Tia collapsed, which was terrifying. Karen discovered she had heart disease, and what felt like the end of the road became manageable thanks to Karen talking me through everything and starting Tia on medication that stabilised her massively. This weekend, Tia stopped eating and began to shut down. Deep down I knew what was happening, even though I didn’t want to admit it. I took her to see Karen, and together we made the incredibly difficult decision to let Tia go peacefully before things became painful. It was honestly one of the most peaceful experiences I could have hoped for in such a heartbreaking moment. Karen is an incredibly intelligent vet with the heart of an gold. She always puts the animals first, but she also truly understands what our pets mean to us as owners. She explains everything in detail and always takes the time to answer questions with compassion and honesty. I will forever be grateful to Karen for being there for Tia from start to finish. The reception team are equally amazing — kind, patient, and never rushing you. They show the same compassion, love, and care that Karen does. Thank you to Karen and the entire team. You are all truly wonderful people.

We moved to this vets surgery after our old veterinary surgery refused to treat my dog at Christmas. They have sold out to a company obviously money was more important than my dog - so somebody recommended Court and I have never looked back Kerin is blue’s favourite person in the whole world and he loves going she’s kind spends time and we never feel rushed ! I can highly recommend them they’re kind and caring staff and the receptionists Are lovely too they can always make time and they always try and fit blue in a convenient part of the day because unfortunately Blue was rescued and has some issues around other animals but they extra care so that he feels safe and so are the other animals waiting there! I wouldn’t go anywhere else now! They’re very knowledgeable about food, And moved blue onto a better food and he’s now a lot healthier and a lot happier thank you Court Vets you’re amazing!!
