Not cheap but the service is excellent from being able to book online, the friendly welcome from the receptionist and the vet (Eloise) who was so calming and gentle with the cats and took time to explain everything.

Absolutely fantastic experience with the nurse and my anxious cocker spaniel who was put at ease during his checkup and transformed his experience at the vet practice. Thoroughly recommend this Clinic.

Total rip off merchants should have learned my lesson ! I booked a vaccination for our dog and was quoted £78 phoned round and quoted £55 at other local vets but as they are within walking distance and dealt with them for 10 years went with them. When I went to pay the bill was £81 and told must have been quoted wrong it’s only £3 but it’s the principal ! 2 years ago charged me £260 for a biopsy of a lump that come back as unable to say what the problem was and would need to spend £3k to remove as was under a muscle and could be cancer - 1 month later the lump disappeared and never came back they told me woul be back soon 2 years later still gone. Looking forward to the government regulating this industry

We have been going to Spring Lodge in Great Notley for more than 16 years since our cat Janey was a kitten. Our last visit was on 3rd November 2025 when we said goodbye to Janey after 16 years, 7 months and 24 days. The lady on reception was very kind and Eloise was kind, caring, compassionate and empathetic.
