Faultless experience. Came home to what sounded like a very sick dog late afternoon on a Saturday. Called Woolpack and even though the were fully booked they managed to squeeze us in straight away. Nicky on reception was so kind and empathetic, turned out to be a nasty respiratory infection and they gave me reassurance that even though our dog sounds very unwell she will likely be fine. Gave us the reassurance that we needed and saved us a huge out of hours vet fee. Can’t thank you enough especially Nicky.

We recently had to have a lump removed from our labradors eyelid. A delicate small area but a reasonable sized lump on the inside. Laura N, the surgeon carrying out the operation has done an incredible job. I do precision work, and understand how difficult an operation like this must be - yet the line where the skin has been stitched together is practically invisible. 10 days later after the mass has been removed, the eye looks perfect. Thanks Laura and the rest of the team who made 3 or 4 follow up calls to check on him.

I have used the woolpack many times for both my cat (and more recently for a checkup on my tortoise). My cat is often in fights and so the vast majority of my appointments are on the day last minute requests. Reception staff are always lovely and do their best to get us in asap which i really appreciate. They vet and vet nurse always take their time assessing my cat and really look after him so well. I have had to bring my childen with me a couple of times and they always go the extra mile explaining to them what happened and what they are doing. Overall they make what could be a stressful experience so much better. They even let the kids see the hedgehog this week which they LOVED. Thanks for all your hard work. You are very much appreciated!

Called this morning as my dog ate an avocado (we were registered at a vet further away) and this vet took us in urgently even though they had other appointments. I went in and everybody was so lovely and helpful, he is an anxious and reactive dog but everyone was so understanding and patient. First time coming to this vet and we have ow transferred to this one from our previous one. Thank you!

I can't praise this vets surgery enough, they are so wonderful with my bulldog! She's fairly old now, so we're in and out of the vets every few weeks. We are always greeted with a smile at reception, the staff are all just wonderful (a shout out to Zoe who is my dogs personal favourite!) and so knowledgeable & helpful. My dog is always treated like royalty, with liver paste on tap, so much so that she drags me into the vets knowing she's going to get her treats! Thank you for looking after us so well.

I can't thank the staff enough with the help, empathy, professional approach and support they gave me in saying goodbye to my best friend last week. Woolpack are not my normal vets (they are an hour away) but I knew that morning it was time. I called them to ask for their help and assistance in my boy's final journey. They were so patient with me, whilst I endlessly faffed, said yes, then no, then yes, they totally understood where my head was at and they gave me the reassurance I needed. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for putting up with me being an absolute wreck and allowing my baby to pass with dignity. xx
