Excellent vets. I wouldn't have anyone else take care of my horses.

When I moved to the Royston area I needed to find a new horse vet. My previous dog vet was Nicky Tyrrell and she went above and beyond for my little dog Mollie. She is married to Jason Tyrrell who is a top horse vet. I trusted Nicky and thought if he is anything like her they are the vets for me. I am very happy with them and trust them to do the best for my ponies. I trust them and finding vets you trust is so important for us all. I thoroughly recommend them.

When our horse gashed her leg badly, they came out promptly and cared for her quickly and expertly, and put us at our ease. Early days yet in her treatment, but their positivity is encouraging. We've been with Tyrrell's for nearly 15 years now with good reason.

Absolutely disgraceful clinic, some of the veterinarians are lovely but the reception staff and management are disgraceful, snooty and even take to shouting at you, if you disagree with them. Taking money for a prescription, that they sent to the wrong address, after failure of updating their system, refusal of a refund. My lad has an ongoing condition, which the vets are aware of and yet they still expect to charge for call outs, even though they know this and don't need to see him each time. My other vets was never so money grabbing as these, stay clear if you can!!!

I had a horse vetted by Tyrrells in January and as I was buying unseen (due to COVID restrictions), their input was crucial. I had to chose a vet out of my own area and one not used by the seller; I am pleased that I chose Tyrrells. I found Tyrrells to be extremely professional, reliable and thorough. Reasonably priced and prompt with their report. I would definitely recommend this practice and certainly use them again if required.
