Awful experience with Unicorn Vets. The vet firstly couldn't find any record of my dog (even though we took him there 3months before), then she found it but didn’t think to check the things she noted last time (ie his weight) - until I prompted her to weigh him. Was in there for about 8mins with very little advice other than some shoulder shrugs and paid £74 for the privilege. Will not be going back unfortunately.

Without doubt the best vets in the area, by a long way. We have been coming here since 2020 when my cat needed an operation - with Claire’s excellent care she is now still in perfect health - another vet practice told me to have her put down! Moira and Kim on reception are both lovely, very kind and friendly both on coming in and leaving, and very helpful on the phone. Claire is by far the best vet we have ever visited, excellent thorough advice and explains things really clearly but also so warm and friendly. Always have fantastic service here and wouldn’t go anywhere else

The new email system for routine appointments is very efficient and we were seen the same day. I called on arrival and waited outside, lovely Clare called me back to take some information then came out to collect my dog. My dog is 16 and gets anxious, so although I understand why, I was apprehensive about leaving her, but she came out very calm, accompanied by Clare who explained her treatment plan and brought out medication. For payment I contacted them the following day. They have clearly worked hard to find a system that ensures everyone is safe. Very friendly and efficient service, and I felt they really cared for my lovely old lady. I would recommend without hesitation.

Bought my dog in unregistered and unannounced under an emergency with a piece of bone stuck in her mouth. They quickly sedated her and sorted it out. The price was really reasonable considering it was an emergency and they had to put all other patients on hold. The vet and all reception staff was so caring and helpful in a Horrible situation they couldn’t have been better and I would hesitate to return or recommend.

At a difficult time in our lives with health issues, having our beloved dog being out of sorts too, with various health issues, has put quite a Strain on us! As 'Soon' as i spoke to Kim on reception this morning, along with Zoe thereafter, they calmed me down, Ensuring me it was Fixable! I actually felt that not only do they care for Marley(our German Shepherd), in such a Lovely way,but they were Counsellor to myself, and my concerns. I cannot speak Highly enough,of these Wonderful people and feel Very Lucky to have them as our vets 😍x Graham Garrett
