Welcome to Atherton Veterinary Centre! Conveniently located in the heart of Manchester, our veterinary practice is dedicated to providing quality care to all animals. Whether you have a furry friend or a scaly companion, our team of experienced veterinary surgeons and nurses are here to help.

Our practice is open Monday to Saturday and we close on Sundays. Our opening hours are from 8:15 am to 7:00 pm during the week and on Saturdays we open at the same time but we close at 1:00 pm. At Atherton Veterinary Centre, we believe that your pet should always receive top-notch care. That is why we have a team of qualified and experienced veterinary surgeons who are passionate about animal health. Our veterinary surgeons have years of experience working with all kinds of animals and they are equipped with the latest technology to ensure your pets receive accurate diagnoses and the best treatment.

Our team also includes veterinary nurses who are experienced in taking care of animals. Our head nurse, Mrs Lisa Bond, is always on hand to ensure that your pets are well taken care of. Lisa and her team of RVN qualified veterinary nurses are passionate about their role in your pet’s well-being. They have plenty of experience in nursing and ensure that your pets are comfortable during their visit.

Our facilities are designed to cater to the needs of all animals. Our practice is open at weekends so you can visit us with your pet even if you have a busy weekday schedule. We have a client car park for your convenience, and disabled public access is available so that everyone can access our services with ease.

At Atherton Veterinary Centre, we cater to all kinds of animals. We proudly offer services for birds, cats, dogs, exotic animals, small mammals, and even wild animals. Our team is highly skilled and experienced, which means we can provide expert care no matter what type of animal it is. Our veterinary practice is headed by the director, Dr Jonathan Hart, a highly skilled and experienced veterinary surgeon. He is passionate about animal health and he takes great pride in providing our clients with a tailored and compassionate service. We also have other experienced veterinary surgeons, Miss Elizabeth Lyon, Dr Stefka Mechkarska and Dr Hannah Simpson. All our veterinary surgeons have exceptional qualifications and huge experience enabling us to cater for a high standard of veterinary care.
