I have been with Cambourne Surgery since August 2010 and have had animals throughout this time. Making an appointment online is really easy, which is so convenient. The vets, Jo and Rachel, are both absolutely incredible with us and our animals. Your receptionist, Sarah, is also fantastic — she is extremely efficient with emails, always replies quickly, and is a delight to talk to whenever we visit. I highly recommend Cromwell both in Cambourne and Huntingdon.

We needed to get to see a vet after a problem with our pet. Was very easy to contact the practice, receptionist was very polite and understanding and we were booked for an appointment within a few hours. The lovely lady vet was very good with our pet and explained everything to us clearly and what to do in the follow up treatment by ourselves. All is good now.

Can’t fault this veterinary surgery at all... having gotten a pup for the first time and not knowing much about vets, puppy care, etc. the staff here were so helpful and welcoming and helped put us at ease... we have signed up to the Pet Club also which is a fantastic deal and now have a very healthy and happy puppy (just not so little anymore!) and look forward to bringing her for her monthly checkups and flea/worming... also would like to point out that we have always been able to get an appointment time that suits us rather than having to take one that is ‘left’. Great service!

Awful vet, our cat was run over, we were unaware of this, seen a post on social media so called straight away via phone, no answer. To see if it was definitely our cat that had been taken by a member of public who witnessed the accident to this vets. Obviously in a panic we didn't hang around for the phone to be answered and I drove straight there. Told the lady there we'd been trying to ring for the whole of our 20min or so journey and was answered by them saying the phone was in a vets/receptionist pocket no battery life left, shocking behaviour by a so called emergency vet. Finally get in to see if it was our cat and it was so we were obviously devastated, his back legs hips were damaged you could clearly see that but the vet then put him on the floor to prove to us he couldn't stand up, we were absolutely shocked by this as he was clearly in a state and very obviously in pain and stress etc. This was 2 years ago and thanks to us and the surgeon we were referred to our cat has made a full recovery. But we have absolutely no thanks or praise to this vets at the time as they also missed vital information when diagnosing our cat and passing on relevant information to our surgeons at another practice. On leaving the practice we had to pay a substantial amount before they would offer any help to our cat but we just feel like there was no care, compasion or anything really for our situation, it was literally like you pay us or we put your cat down. We have been here before with our other animals and have questioned the care they've received. We haven't been back since this experience and never will.we have found a far better out of hours vets. Definitely would not recommend. The surgeon Cromwell recommended us to however I have nothing but praise for and the care and advice they and us gave our cat has changed how this surgeon treats his future patients with similar issues. Our cat was a complex case.
