I have had rabbits for years and my 12 week old rabbit ended up sneezing with white junk at its nose. Took her in with suspected snuffles or respiratory infection. The vet told us it’s just congestion. When do you ever get congestion in rabbits? My husband mention snuffles again but the lady vet said it wasn’t. They gave her decongestant and anti inflammatory and to call back up if no changes. After 4 days there is no change, she’s worse, sneezing more than ever and white gunk at her nose. I call up to book her back in but the vet now wants another whole consultation payment again. I fight that she’s been mis diagnosed and I shouldn’t have to pay this. I ask for a manager to call me back - she did and I missed the call. I called back up and left a message with reception for her to call me back and I never got the call. The next day I go out and my baby rabbit is dead. I do not trust this vet, there was no urgency, I felt it was all about money. I’m no vet but after having rabbits for years I do know what it’s an infection or gut status etc! So disappointed. If they send you away with an answer you’re not happy with see another vet immediately! I’ve heard I’m not the only one this has happened to.

Cannot praise the efficiency, care and understanding high enough. The vet was thorough and explained everything. Thank you all very much.

Have used this vet since November last year with minor issues - the only thing being that they need to order in the flea and worming tablets my cats have which is a bit of a delay but usually there’s no issues. This morning however, I was booked in to get their vaccinations done - I’ve switched vets since I moved and they administer a different brand here, so they mentioned they would have to start from scratch (my cats are just over a year old). Going to the vets is always a stressful event for my cats, so I struggled to get them in their carriers and took them here, only to be told that they had gotten their last vaccinations on the 2nd of September and so doing their vaccinations today needed to be off-licence, carried an increased risk and I needed to sign a form that explained this - obviously I was a bit surprised that they hadn’t just booked me in for after the 2nd of September, as vaccinations already incur a risk every time, so I wasn’t going to go ahead with an increased risk? We’ve now booked in for the 2nd of September, but this could have been avoided so easily with better internal staff communication and saved my cats a very stressful trip for no reason (my girl cat went into hiding as soon as we got home).

Our hearing dog, Belle, has suffered from several medical conditions and has been treated by Hampden for the last 6 months. We've been to Haddenham twice but usually the main site. We have 100% trust and confidence in them and the staff really care about their work. Best vets we have ever known (and I'm 70)!

Not at all impressed. Vets are fine and offer good advice. After taking my dog in for an ear infection I came out with cleaning solution, medication for his ears and painkillers £131. Come back in a week, So far so good. I was specifically told the check up appointment was included in the initial fee so at the end when I was asked for an additional £54 I was somewhat surprised. I did say I was told this was included and the response was ‘sometimes it’s included and sometimes it isn’t and today it isn’t’. I don’t mind paying but not when I’m specifically told it’s included. I think your members of staff need to communicate better.

Had my first appointment at Hampden Vets in Haddenham this week. Olivia on the desk and Liv the vet were both delightful, very helpful and knowledgeable. I am moving to Haddenham and trust that Honey will be well cared for whenever needed!
