Our consultation with vet Letitia was absolutely fantastic, the care compassion and kindness given to our pet Mal was very much appreciated. All the team at Lamond’s veterinary practice were so professional, welcoming, supportive and caring they all made us feel our pet mattered.

Was in the vets today. The vet that attended to me was Chloe and she was so helpful. I had a few questions about my newly rescued cat and she gave me very helpful advice. I was very satisfied with my visit. Chloe could not have been nicer. It was a really good visit today and I felt better equipped to handle my new cat after the advice I received. Thank u Chloe.

Fantastic practice who are SO attentive and caring not only about the concerns of our furballs but also any worries we as owners may have. The clinic itself is spotless and staff are SO kind and friendly. No hidden charges and any costs that may arise are discussed from the onset which is fab. We have been with the practice for over a decade and our boys are thriving as seniors. A heartfelt thank you!

We recently visited for the first time and had a great experience, the vet (Ellie) was exceptional and extremely reassuring for our cat. Very knowledgeable and the front desk team were also very friendly.

This practice used to be family run and had a very good local reputation. Unfortunately, since being taken over by IVC Evidensia, our experience completely changed, and not for the better. Every visit seemed to be with a different new vet, which says a lot when staff appear to be leaving constantly. There was no continuity of care, and it felt impossible to build trust with anyone. On top of that, almost every appointment turned into a sales exercise. We were repeatedly pushed towards unnecessary tests, treatments and plans that felt designed to generate money rather than genuinely help our dog. One example, our dog had a sticky eye. Instead of starting with a simple solution, we were encouraged to sign up for extensive investigations and treatment plans that could have cost hundreds, even thousands. In the end, the issue was resolved with a simple liquid drop costing around £15. We have since left the practice, as have many others we know locally, and we would strongly recommend people think carefully before registering here. If you want more insight into how this corporate group operates, I would suggest watching the BBC Panorama programme on IVC Evidensia. It certainly reflected the experience we had.

From the moment we arrived, the experience at the veterinary clinic was excellent. There was plenty of spacious parking available, and we were warmly greeted at reception. We were directed to a separate cat-only waiting area, which was a huge relief—our sick cat wasn’t stressed by the presence of other animals. Richard took wonderful care of Luna. He examined her thoroughly from head to tail, considered every possible cause of her symptoms, and asked us detailed questions about what we had observed at home. Luna had bloodwork done, received an injection, and we were sent home with the proper medications. We also received clear, detailed instructions on how to carry out the follow-up treatments at home. Overall, we felt truly supported, and Luna was in excellent hands. And best of all, our cat is already feeling so much better and slowly get back to normal.

We have been with Lamond Vets for 3 years now. We joined when our previous vets misdiagnosed the condition of one of our cats which ended up with the partial amputation of his tail. We now have all our three cats registered with Lamond Vets. All three are rescues from the Scottish SPCA. We feel that we have received an excellent level of service by the practice, both vets and nurses. The place is welcoming the moment you step in, with the receptionists always treating you with a smile. We felt we were in good hands when one of our cats had to undergo an operation and treatment, and we were confident to get our third rescue, an older fragile beautiful boy, as we knew that Lamond Vets would have our back. If you live in West Lothian, there is no other place I would recommend for you to take your beloved animals. Basil & Tulay
