The team at vets for pets in Launceston are absolutely fantastic. They’re the most caring bunch of people who have a genuine love for animals. Our kitten sustained a head injury, I genuinely believed that she wouldn’t make it. The team at vets for pets stabilised her and contacted a specialist in wellington where we transported her to and they cared for her for 4 days. Thankfully, she pulled through, however we were concerned that she wasn’t making as quick as recovery as we’d hoped. We took her back to vets for pets, who have cared for her for the last 3 days. We’re absolutely over the moon that on collecting her, she’s more like herself. The care that she has received at vets for pets has been absolutely incredible, the team have communicated with us every step of the way. It’s clear how much they all genuinely care for the welfare of animals, and understand the stress this puts the owners under. They do a fantastic job of caring for your pets, and for reassuring you and calming you down in stressful situations.

On a short holiday in Cornwall i needed to take my dog, Falcao, to Vets4Pets at Launceston for an emergency appointment due to a severe saliva gland infection. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with the biggest care and professionalism. Dr. Joanna, who attended to Falcao, was exceptional. She quickly assessed the situation and provided a clear and thorough explanation of Falcao's condition. Her calm demeanor and expertise instantly put us at ease during such a stressful time. The receptionist staff was compassionate and attentive, ensuring that Falcao was comfortable throughout the examination and treatment process. Dr. Joanna's swift and effective treatment plan made a significant difference in Falcao's recovery. They even call us on next day simple to check up on our dog recovery. I am incredibly grateful for the outstanding care that Dr. Joanna and the team at Vets4Pets at Launceston provided. Their dedication and kindness turned a worrying situation into a manageable one. I highly recommend this clinic to anyone in need of veterinary services. Thank you, Dr. Joanna, for your exceptional care of Falcao. We are forever grateful!

I went into pets at home and asked for help regarding my orphaned bunnies, their mum passed away the evening before and I had rabbit milk on order but the soonest delivery I could get was the day after, meaning the babies NEEDED feeding. The kind man in pets at home found me kitten milk replacer, googled it for me and said it was fine. I wanted to check with the vet so walked over to Vets for Pets and the receptionist went out the back and asked, she came back and said the vet said no absolutely do not give them that, I need to order special rabbit milk online (nowhere seems to sell it except Amazon), explained I had but it would be here tomorrow, could they not offer advice in the meantime and she said no that's all they said, so I said shall I just let them die then and she just said sorry! And sniggered to the next customer as I walked away, someone in the queue came to me after and said how disgusting the advice was. Phoned Castle Vets and the lovely receptionist went and spoke with her colleague who has raised buns herself said cat milk replacer was absolutely fine, twice a day and she didn't know what Vets for Pets was on about! Glad I moved my animals elsewhere. Really disgusted that they were happy to let 12 day old bunnies die rather than offer any sort of suggestion, since found out goats milk is also OK. AVOID, clearly don't care for animals.

Exceptionally kind and caring service. I had to make the heartbreaking decision to have my beautiful dog, Molly, euthanized. Rosie, Jess and the team were wonderful. They did everything in their power to make Molly's passing as calm, peaceful and gentle as possible. She was surrounded by love. Thank you.
