I took my mother's elderly cat to this Vet. She was clearly showing signs of kidney failure. I explained my mother is a pensioner yet all I was told was that the cat needed an injection and some sort of exploratory blood tests and some jab was given to her and I was told to give her potassium which the cat hated along with the ordeal of going down the vet which to be honest wasn't the vet's fault but then for the vet to turn around and charge us 400 pounds for consultation fee for a cat that was clearly dying showed all the signs of kidney failure and I even mentioned that that was surely a possibility but instead all I was met with was vague potentials this and that vague potentials this that and what this and that would cost and how it needed to go for blood test to the local town and that maybe a ambulance could be sent which would cost another 200 pound and 100 pounds here and 100 pounds there absolutely disgusting. All that mattered to this vet was money. There was no care. No due care given us to the state of the cat like there would have been n the old days. In the past The vet would have been honest and probably not even charged us anything. A real rip-off. Absolutely disgusting waste of money. Nearly 400 pounds at least. And a cat that died with no help and a totally pointless vet visit in fact series of visits. Disgusting treatment! Taking advantage of a dying cat. And vulnerable owner's trying to do the right thing. Disgusting unethical treatment

We’ve been with Quantock Vets for many years and would highly recommend them. The level of care and understanding, especially in difficult times is exemplary.
