Absolutely fantastic service from everyone at the vet today. I genuinely thought my dog was in a really bad way with severe reverse sneezing, but as soon as I arrived there were four or five staff members there immediately to help. They took him straight in and dealt with everything so quickly and professionally. I ended up taking him back a second time, and again they were incredibly caring, reassuring, and thorough. Then on the third visit they sorted him out completely. Every single member of staff has been absolutely brilliant throughout. You can tell they genuinely care about the animals they treat, and I can’t thank them enough for how quickly and calmly they handled everything. Highly recommend!

We have both our pets registered with this veterinary group for a long time and we are very pleased with the care the vets and the nurses provide to each of them. The quality of services improved a lot in the last three years. Our dog has a serious medical condition and is on a long term medication. His vet is always extremely supportive in how to mange his condition the best. He always listens to our concerns and helps us with the right advice, showing care and empathy. The reception staff is nice and welcoming. Thank you Old Golf House.

On Monday I had my handsome boxer put to sleep. One of the worst decisions I have ever had to make. The staff and vet were amazing. They showed so much compassion and empathy. The procedure was done with utter dignity and respect to us and our boy Stan. Thankyou so much for making a terrible and devastating situation bearable with your kindness x

I took my dog in due to him being sick, not only was the foreign object that was causing his sickness missed twice by two separate vets at the practice his after care for the surgery was terrible. I rang them to let them know his wound looks to be gaping and weeping, he was trembling and drooling alongside pink fluid leaking from his incision. They told me this was very normal 3 days post op. It turned out he had septic peritonitis. They bombarded him with antibiotics which never stood a chance to work until revision surgery and flushing the infection was done. Only to lie via phone call telling me “ he has collapsed you have 20 minutes to put him down or give 10,000 upfront ”. The place who would have done this surgery only charged 8,000 so they added an extra 2,000 anyway. I rushed to my dog only for him to be kept from me in a different room while two people told me “he will not make the journey to thetford”, he made it to thetford and then Cambridge where he received the appropriate treatment , my dog was home within 5 days of his treatment. 1 star is too generous for a place that is more than willing to kill a 3 year old otherwise healthy dog to cover their own negligence and stupidity.
