I took my 6-year-old cat, Tuxedo, to this practice today, and I can honestly say it was the most compassionate, efficient, and excellent experiences I've had. Sophie was amazing, like a real “cat whisperer”. She trimmed Tuxedo’s nails with such calm skill and ease, which really impressed me, as it is never an easy task at home. Although the appointment was only for nail trimming, I also mentioned some unusual behaviour I had noticed recently and my concern that she might need her anal glands expressed. Sophie and the also lovely Erin kindly took the time to help with this too. Both were compassionate, calm, confident, and clearly very skilled. Their care and professionalism were incredibly reassuring for both Tuxedo and me. We have just moved to Little Venice from Hertfordshire and feel so lucky to have found this practice.

Excellent dental care for my senior dog. I was worried about him going under anesthesia at his age, but the vet walked me through the whole process and the monitoring they do. He’s back to eating his kibble with no pain. Highly recommend.

I went to this clinic in a very stressful situation and was extremely anxious, but from the moment we arrived, the whole team was incredibly kind, calm, and reassuring. They listened carefully, acted very quickly, and explained everything clearly, which made a huge difference for both me and my dog. Their approach was not only professional but also genuinely caring. Thanks to them, a very scary moment turned into a well-managed and reassuring experience. I’m truly grateful for their support and would highly recommend this clinic to anyone looking for compassionate and reliable veterinary care.

The best vet practice I have been to! The doctors are very caring and attentive and my heart is full when they share my love for my cat. My cat is 13 year old and some problems come with age but the vets have done a lot, referring to external help when needed, to get everything sorted. I am extremely grateful and even if we move I am considering continuing coming to this practice.

Routine annual vet check for our cat. Polite and friendly staff, easy to get an appointment that was convenient - no judgement when I had to change the date on a couple of occasions. Clean and welcoming surgery. It’s so close to where we live! Thorough exam by Claudia (hope she stays as we have had a different vet annually for the review in previous years!). She picked up issues with her Highness’s teeth and gave different options to manage this - we’re opting for the conservative approach. Extra points for being very chatty and cuddly with the cat - not just being clinically focused! Thank you team!

I have been using the Village Vet in Maida Vale for over 10 years for my cats and dog. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. The staff are kind and clearly very knowledgeable. I still use them even though the MV branch is no longer my local surgery. I completely trust them. I particularly recommend Dr Giacomo Uva who has done the pets' check ups, tended on them when they have been unwell and also undertaken a surgical procedure under GA.
