I could not recommend Malthouse Vets more highly. They have supported us through the most difficult time with both our cats. Offering both care and professionalism at every stage, you never feel rushed or that you are asking too much of them. You feel heard and they treat your pet as the unique little character they are, going the extra mile to make them feel safe. Every person at this practice cares and understands that pets are our family and how deeply we love them. Kindness is engrained in this practice. We are forever thankful for the dignity and compassion they gave our boys over the years.

So happy I moved to this vet, not only are they close by, the staff are so lovely and they greeted my kitten. They’re real animal lovers. Thank you so much.

The two vets, Sophie and Casey were absolutely amazing in a very traumatic situation, they showed compassion and professionalism above and beyond any vets experience Ive ever had, their kindness and supportive nature shone through and they are an absolute credit to their profession and to Malthouse Vets.

It's difficult to put into words how amazing the team at Malthouse vets are, they are all so very kind, helpful, patient and supportive. My little Poppy was so poorly, they did everything they could and I could not have asked for a more compassionate, professional and personal experience through an extremely difficult time. I simply can not rate them high enough for what they deserve, truly fantastic and wouldn't take my pet to any other vets!

They're such lovely people that my dog was perfectly happy to go in by herself (because of current Covid-19 restrictions). And if THAT isn't an accolade, I don't know what is! Thank you Bronwen & co. xxx

Whilst fairly happy with the veterinary staff, the RECEPTION STAFF are diabolical. On every visit, I was met by SARAH who has zero customer service skills and talks down to you with an air of passive aggression and superiority, as she does on her phone calls. She refuses to smile as if that gives her more authority. She acts more like a gatekeeper than somebody who has any compassion for you as a stressed owner of a much loved pet. The vet who witnessed her obnoxious behaviour and agreed that she was unprofessional, apologised on her behalf and said they would be having a word with her. Despite this, I was met with more hostility at the very next appt. After making a formal complaint, I received a sarcastic reply from the manager (Sarah's friend!), was told that it would be investigated and that the owner would be in touch. I've still heard NOTHING and so have now moved my cat to Arberth's vet in Redstone road. An unpleasant situation that could have been rectified by appropriate action and proper acknowledgement. Be warned...if you have a complaint... (and you might)... it won't be dealt with.
