I’m extremely disappointed with this veterinary surgery. Not long ago we bought a kitten that was peeing over its back legs, we took him immediately to this vet as it’s the closest to us and had a lot of positive reviews. The vet assured us it’s completely normal and not to worry even after expressing our concerns and there being a lot of red flags for damaged nerves near the tail. I am no vet but with small research I came to this conclusion and the vet just brushed it off. After two more days of this and constant meowing we took him to another vet and he has to be put down because he was in agony and no operation could have helped him. I don’t understand how a professional couldn’t see what me and my wife figured out ourselves with a bit of research. “He is a perfectly healthy kitten”. I know noting could have been done for him but this vet gave us fake hope. Really disappointed, if you want an honest vet don’t chose these guys are they are clearly not up to standard.

So nice to see the local monopoly by "the other firm" being broken. Service and care is excellent, and everything feels much more personal and less corporate than the other one. Prices are possibly a little lower too, and on-site parking is dead easy.

I wanted to leave some feedback following the neutering of my cat, Matisse, and his ongoing care with you. As any pet owner knows, leaving your beloved animal for a procedure is nerve-wracking, but the team at Pet Practice made me feel completely at ease. Every single person, from the receptionists to the nurses and the vet, was professional, knowledgeable, and genuinely compassionate. They took the time to explain the procedure and aftercare thoroughly, and treated Matisse with such tenderness and care. He has recovered beautifully, which I have no doubt is down to the skill and dedication of your team. It gives me incredible peace of mind to know he is looked after by such a wonderful practice. Thank you for everything you do!

I can’t thank this vet practice enough for the care they gave my dog during her surgery. From the moment we walked in, the team were incredibly informative, kind, and clearly committed to doing what’s best for both pets and their owners. They explained everything thoroughly and answered all my questions with patience and compassion, which really helped ease my worries. The level of care they showed was exceptional, and it’s clear they genuinely love what they do. My dog absolutely loves them too, which says it all! The costs were also very reasonable, and it never felt like they were pushing anything unnecessary — just focused on helping however they could. I’m so happy I chose to bring my dog here. We felt completely looked after from start to finish, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone.

Pets practice is a breath of fresh air. Honest and very helpful staff, We saw a lovely vet called "Ben" on our visit. We took our two dogs George and Nala for a health check. Both now on the pet plan. Another great service from Pets practice and highly recommended👏 welcome to the town
