Dr. Philippa Mitchell, VetMB BA BSc MRCVS, leads the team as our Principal Veterinary Surgeon. Highly qualified and experienced, Dr. Mitchell is committed to ensuring that your pet receives the utmost attention and care. At Active Pet, we have a diverse group of veterinary surgeons who are devoted to the welfare of your pets and are constantly updating their knowledge on the best techniques and practices to keep your little (or large!) companions healthy and happy.

Our clinic offers a wide range of facilities and services for your convenience. From routine check-ups to more advanced treatments, our state-of-the-art facilities are equipped to handle all of your pet care needs. We even have a dedicated client car park for you to use when you visit us, as we understand that sometimes our furry friends can be eager to come inside!

We are proud to be an open practice at weekends, providing you with the flexibility to schedule appointments that suit your needs. We understand that life can be busy, so our opening hours are designed to accommodate your busy schedule. Active Pet is open from 09:00 until 18:30 from Monday to Saturday. However, do note that we operate a referrals-only system, ensuring that our dedicated vets can give their full attention and expertise to your pets’ specific needs.
