I want to thank Mark Longley and the whole team at Swift Referrals from the bottom of my heart, for the amazing love and care they gave to my 10 year old girl. Bella was recovering brilliantly from recent tplo surgery to her leg. Out of the blue she began vomiting, and became seriously ill very quickly. Beehive vets in Rothwell arranged an appointment immediately for us at Swift. The kindness and expertise from everyone was amazing. Bella recovered from her abdominal surgery, and she's now home, back to her old self, happy , cheeky, and noisy. Mark Longley was amazing, explained everything in detail and kept me updated throughout her stay in ICU, along with the whole team. Thankyou, I will never forget your kindness, and recommend you to everyone. Annis Price

Outstanding service from Abby the vet who volunteered to come in on a day off to attend to Wilbur, a 13 year old rescue dog. He was struggling to breathe and she immediately got him on oxygen and completed a chest drain. CT scans were done quickly and the pathways forward clearly explained. The required procedure (pleurodesis) was successfully done the next day and Wilbur was home with us that night. All the staff were excellent and had a compassionate, professional manner. There was an issue with Wilbur’s medical history which caused a potential snag with him staying overnight on Wednesday. Cheryl, the Practise Manager, kept us informed and came up with a resolution which involved staff changing their work schedules. A resolution which again demonstrated the professionalism of all involved. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use their service again should it be needed.

I cannot recommend Swift Referrals highly enough. The level of service is exceptional, and the care they showed for my dog, Louis, is outstanding. The team is professional, compassionate, and fully dedicated to your pet's well-being. They explain everything clearly and make sure both you and your animal feel comfortable and supported. What impressed me most was their commitment to doing everything medically possible for the animal. You can tell they genuinely care and always act in the pet's best interests. The attention to detail and willingness to explore every available option gives real peace of mind. It is rare to find a veterinary team that combines such high clinical standards with genuine kindness and empathy. I’m incredibly grateful for the care they’ve provided and would recommend them without hesitation to anyone looking for the very best for their pet.

We chose Swift Referrals and then told our local vet to refer us to them which they did. Barney, our 10 year old Lab Retriever needed three operations...Coloplexy, Cystoplexy, Scrotal Ablation and a Perineal Hernia Repair. Eleven nights including a stay on ICU and he was done he was very weak and needed to be at home. It was the worst couple of weeks of our lives, we were in tears every day but we got him back. Constant updates a couple of times a day, every day, made all the difference. The team at Swift are fantastic and really professional and we would recommend them wholeheartedly to anyone who has a poorly pet. Thank you so so much for saving Barney. xxx

I was provided with a list of specialists to choose from for Diglett’s BOAS surgery and I am so glad I went with Swift Referrals. I felt well informed, at ease and found everyone i spoke to, whether that be face to face, or over the phone was lovely. It was good to hear that Diglett was on her best behaviour whilst she was in for her surgery and that she received lots of love. Thank you from myself and Diglett 🥰🐾🏥

Recently I had to have my much-loved, 12 year old Siamese cat, TK, put to sleep and I cannot thank Swift Referrals enough for their kindness, compassion and understanding. I especially appreciate the care that Emilio showed to both TK and to me. He explained fully what would happen and offered me lots of reassurance. In the event, TK’s death was calm, quiet, gentle and in fact, beautiful. And sad though it was, I couldn’t have asked for a more peaceful end. Thank you Emilio. I wish you every happiness and all the very best in your future career. With many grateful thanks again, Jeanne

On a number of occasions Swift has rescued our precious Lola. I don’t use the word rescued lightly, but the team have performed miracles on our girl. For more than a year, you have been patient, understanding and most importantly you have listened to us when other vets haven’t. Bethan is a credit to Swift, along with the RVN’s, client care and the other vets who work hard in the background. You work great as a team and it shows! Once again you guys came through for us and Lola, and we will always be grateful for the borrowed time we have with her. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so very much for saving her life on more than one occasion and thank you once again for being patient with us….more so me! As you know she means the world to us and we will always be guided by your professional opinions. Lola has a great life to live and you’re all helping her live it. ❤️
