Fantastic care as always! We visited the surgery today to collect our puppy’s monthly flea, worm and tick treatment as we were passing. We got her weighed and then I mentioned that she had a little missing fur around her hip area and asked if she needed to see the vet. The answer was ‘better safe than sorry’ and as we are on the monthly payment scheme we could see a vet whenever we wanted at no additional cost to us whatsoever. We had her weighed and anal glands emptied and are hoping that is the cause but if not we can see the vet again. I also called later in the day as I was worried after finding a deer tick on the puppy. We were reassured that as she was in the monthly treatment then she should be absolutely fine. However, we were given symptoms to look out for ‘just incase’.All in all absolutely fantastic service from Sandbeck Vets from every single member of staff we met. Oh and the fact that when you pop in you are made to feel like your puppy/dog/cat/rabbit/guinea pigtortoise etc is the favourite pet that the ladies on reception have seen that day really does bring joy and a smile to our faces. Sitting and watching the receptionists fuss over Nala really does make them feel more like old friends than someone just doing their job.No, for the entire Sandbeck team you are friends first, best friends, and customers second. The care and devotion given to all of our pets has been first class and I cannot recommend them enough. I would also HIGHLY recommend the monthly payment scheme whereby you pay each month and can see a vet whenever you want for reassurance and treatment. You also get extras like vaccinations and flea, worming and tick treatment included which has already more than paid for itself and we’ve only had Nala 6 weeks (although it does feel like forever!) Highly, HIGHLY recommended by Nala the border Collie and her devoted family 🥰

Mav was back at the vets - again! This time with very itchy skin! Helen was, of course, absolutely fabulous and took the greatest of care of our very gentle little man. One injection and he seems to be so much better - fingers crossed it doesn't end up being a complication of his last trip! But I have absolutely faith that, if it turns out that Mav has an inflammation issue, the Dream Team will sort him out. We really couldn't recommend Sandbeck enough! in fact, if you're not a Sandbeck customer, why not???? Thank you again to everyone at Sandbeck xxx

We recently brought our little kitten in to be spayed, and from start to finish the experience was exceptional. Natalie, the vet, was incredibly kind and reassuring during our initial consultation. She took the time to answer all our questions and truly put us at ease, especially after we hadn’t had the best experience elsewhere. When we dropped Elchi off, Lucy the nurse was so understanding and compassionate (particularly during my emotional wobble!!) which meant more to us than we can say. When we collected her, the student nurse Nat was patient, thorough and incredibly helpful in explaining everything clearly. Our kitten is now back home and doing great post-surgery, which is the biggest reassurance of all. A heartfelt thank you to the entire team including the wonderful reception staff for making what felt like a big day for us so calm, supportive and smooth.

The most caring vets practice you could ask for! I feel so lucky to have found Sandbeck vets for my dogs. They have never been happier and the care they receive from Sandbeck goes above and beyond. Stress free, understanding, honest and never hesitate to speak to you or see you with any concerns. I feel my dogs are in very good hands.

We cannot thank Julian Norton and the entire team enough for the outstanding care they provided to our F2 cockapoo, Ruby, from start to finish. Ruby’s surgery was carried out with excellent results, and what truly set this experience apart was how calm, safe, and reassured both Ruby and our family felt throughout. A heartfelt thank you to Kaitlyn for her kindness, support, and exceptional communication — it made such a difference. Ruby came home bright, comfortable, and clearly well cared for, and we’re absolutely delighted with her outlook. The whole team are truly impressive, and we would not hesitate to recommend them. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ We originally registered at Sandbeck Veterinary Centre after our usual vet was unsure about the diagnosis and treatment for our young hamster, Milo. Within days he was correctly diagnosed and underwent intricate, lifesaving surgery—something few vets would attempt. Thanks to their skill and compassion, Milo is now recovering well. It’s such a relief to have found a practice with the knowledge and dedication to care for exotics and small animals. Milo may have a tiny body, but he has enormous spirit. Our sincere thanks to the whole team. ❤️

Fantastic vets. Not had the best experience with other vets in the past so was always nervous. As a new customer, I cannot praise them enough. Honestly I wouldn’t put my pets safety with anybody else now! Sandbeck are by far the best vets we have been with. They always make my cat, Gizmo feel so safe. They are very informative and helpful. The receptionists and vets, can’t praise them enough!

From walking through the doors to saying our goodbyes, we were in the very best hands every step of the way. The surgery on my dog’s eye was absolutely impeccable! I’ve never seen sutures so neat on a human, let alone in such a delicate area on a dog. It gave me such peace of mind knowing she was being cared for by people who clearly love what they do. Seeing how happy she was when I collected her said it all; she’d been fussed, cuddled, and properly looked after all day. I specifically chose Sandbeck to carry out the surgery, rather than my usual vet, after so many glowing recommendations, and I’m so glad I did. They even called the next day to check how she was recovering, which was such a thoughtful touch. My only complaint? I don’t live in Wetherby, otherwise this would be our regular practice without question.
