Very happy and confident with their care. Saw our dog quickly whilst we were on holiday nearby. Listened, accessed notes from our own vet. Excellent Practice.

Almost 2 weeks ago we had to have our beloved 14 year old Teacup Yorkshire Terrior put to sleep. We were staying in Wetherby for a few nights, so wasn't registered at this particular practice. After a phone call with a lovely lady on reception, we were quickly registered and given a prompt appointment. On arrival we were obviously very upset, but both the lady on reception, and the lady vet were very kind and compassionate... which we were so grateful for. We can't thank Parkhill Veterinary Surgery enough during this very difficult time.

I have been using Parkhill Vets for over 28 years and the service and treatment provided is second to none. Parkhill Vets has excellent facilities and state-of-the-art equipment, and the caring team have a wealth of experience and expertise. I would like to thank Kate, lead surgeon for her time and patience with me & Mils, I trust her judgement implicitly. The nursing team deliver an excellent level of care, understanding both the needs of our pets and reassuring worried owners. Finally, a big shout out to Vick, Julia & Jo along with all the receptionists who are extremely friendly, helpful, and professional at all times, and to Karen who looks after things behind the scenes. Thank you, Parkhill – you are amazing! Jane & Millie x

We cannot thank the team at Parkhill Vets enough for all the support and expertise they have given to us and to our long haired dachshund, over many years and particularly recently. They have been Rocky's vets since he was a puppy so have been there throughout all his general check ups, regular treatments and also two very dramatic situations. When he developed IVDD, him not becoming paralysed for life was much to do with our vet's prompt referral to a specialist for surgery. Rocky also had a major reaction to the anaesthetic when he went for his teeth cleaning and vets Charlotte and Gordon were incredible in their speedy reactions to recue him back for us. This was when we were first told that Rocky had a heart murmur which sadly, ealier this year developed into more advanced heart failure. Vet Gordon and the team at Parkhill have all been so amazing with their professionalism, knowledge and compassion when sadly Rocky became symptomatic. Despite all our joint efforts, he died peacefully at home on 08/07/2025. Thankfully the family were all by his side. We are all devastated as we come to terms with not having him around with us after almost 15 years . The entire team at Parkhill Vets were so sensitive when we went for reviews, tests or picking up vital medication. As we began to realise palliative care was needed, Gordon and the the team were so genuinely compassionate and understanding which helped us through our distress. Based on our experience, we would highly recommend Parkhill Vets for any of your beloved pets. We have two other dachshunds who are both registered with this practice and feel confident with our choice of vet cover. We always felt Rocky was in the safest of hands and trusted the decisions made regarding medications and necessary interventions. When your beloved animal is sick this is what you need from your vets.

First time visit and we’ll definitely be staying. Receptionists were super warm, welcoming and very much willing to go the extra mile to make booking appointments easy for you. The vet that we were seen by was very professional, addressed any queries I had and was very kind and patient with Xuxa who was a little skittish at her appointment. Thank you again for giving such excellent service!

We wouldn’t use another vets, our experience with our boy Barney has always been so good. The vets know he hates smooth flooring so they put a runner down for him to stand on in the practice room. The receptionists are helpful and friendly, they know he is a bit of a weirdo dog and accommodate him so well. 5 ⭐ all the way.
