Your Family Vets is an independent, family-owned veterinary practice on Wetherby Road in Knaresborough, serving Knaresborough, Harrogate and nearby villages. It opened on 4 November 2024 on the site previously occupied by Tower Vets Knaresborough and, before that, Ashleigh Veterinary Clinic. The practice is led by founder and clinical director Philip Simon, an RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Surgery.
Services include consultations, nurse clinics, vaccinations, neutering including laparoscopic spays, dentistry, X-ray, ultrasound, CT scanning, general and advanced soft tissue and orthopaedic surgery, and emergency care. MRI scans are arranged through partner providers. A wellness plan for cats and dogs is available, and the practice has separate cat and dog waiting areas.
At weekends the practice sees emergencies only. Out of hours, clients can use the VidiVet video service, and in-person care is provided by Skeldale Veterinary Hospital in Thirsk.
