After many years, I have sadly moved all of my pets to another vet. Abbey House has become too expensive - charging £30 for non-prescription items that are £7 online and sometimes adding them to your bill without consent. I do not want to pursue resolutions via complaints so have taken my business elsewhere.

I cannot express enough superlatives in this review to cover the care and attention pets receive with Abbey House Rothwell. We've been going there over 15 years with rodents and cats. Every pet is cared for as if it were their own, and as owners we are treated kindly and warmly. I've had to have pets put down before, and their kindness and compassion was endless. Their day to day care is exceptional. We will never use a different vet.

Lovely friendly welcoming staff, very caring. They go above and beyond. They invited myself and Ted to just pop in for a chat and a treat, to help Ted familiarise himself so that he won't feel anxious when he has to come to see the vet.

I’ve had dealings with this practice for many years - and always been treated with courtesy and professionalism. My latest trip was yesterday after my collie Tara frightened the life out of me with a nasty turn. The young vet was so kind and reassuring and the receptionist was particularly friendly and welcoming. Thanks to the whole team
