Welcome to Westover Veterinary Centre, a friendly and welcoming veterinary practice located in the heart of Norwich, Norfolk, England. At Westover, animals are our passion and we are committed to providing the highest quality veterinary care to all species ranging from camelids, cattle, equines, pigs, poultry, sheep to goats.
Our practice is staffed with an experienced team of veterinary surgeons, nurses and advanced practitioners who are dedicated to ensuring your pet receive the best possible care. We are proud to be accredited by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS) which demonstrates our commitment to providing the highest standards of veterinary care.
Our practice is open from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, and our skilled team is available to offer expert advice on a wide range of services including general health checks, vaccination, internal medicine, dental care, surgery, and emergency veterinary care. Unlike most veterinary practices, we remain closed on Saturdays and Sundays to allow our staff to recharge their batteries for the week ahead.
The veterinary surgeons at Westover include Mr Thomas Hume and Miss Ann Kent, both of whom are directors of the practice and have certificates in advanced veterinary practice (CertAVP) and equine practice (CertEP), respectively. They lead a team of dedicated and experienced veterinarians including Mrs Eve Barnard, Mr Benjamin Crowter and Mrs Katie Davis, all of whom are qualified and are members of the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (MRCVS).
Our professional team is complemented by our team of registered veterinary nurses, including Mrs Anna Clarke, Mrs Liberty Highe, and Mrs Heidi Smith. Our team of dedicated nurses play a crucial role in caring for your pets, from administering medications and providing post-op care to carrying out diagnostic tests, and we are proud to say that Westover Veterinary Centre is an accredited practice for veterinary nurse training under the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons.
At Westover Veterinary Centre, we understand that bringing your pet to the vet can be stressful. That’s why we have created a welcoming practice with a relaxing reception area designed to calm anxious pets and owner alike. Our facilities include a client car park and simple disabled access to ensure that everyone can easily visit the vet when they most need to.
We are proud to be a practice of interests which means we offer additional services beyond traditional veterinary care. Our services include dietary advice, puppy/kitten training, and senior pet health programs. Our friendly team can provide advice on all aspects of pet care and we are always happy to answer all your questions.
We are passionate about our patients and are well equipped to provide comprehensive care for all of your pets. If you are looking for a practice that is committed to providing the highest standards of veterinary care, come and visit us at Westover Veterinary Centre.
