I cannot thank you enough for how sensitively you dealt with putting my brother’s cat to sleep. The veterinary nurse who managed the situation was amazing. She allowed time to accept the best course of action and was so kind to my brother. This was even though we were a last minute appointment just before closing. Many many thanks…you really were lovely and your approach will have made this so much easier to cope with - a pay rise should be considered!!

From the vets to the nurses to the reception staff everyone is so friendly and helpful. It can be a worrying time taking your pet to the vets but the staff are so reassuring and explain everything before any procedure goes ahead. Molly is always greeted by her name on arrival and actually pulls on her lead to go in as she knows she gets a treat. Molly has regular monthly injections for allergies and has had two very successful crutiate surgeries on her hind legs. Avonvale check her regularly and I couldn’t be happier with the service we receive

We recently had our kitten neutered a few days ago and the service from start to finish was amazing. Our lovely vet took such great care of Boo, and we couldn’t be more grateful. We would definitely recommend them. Boo says thank you too! 🐾💛

Excellent vets, they are always helpful and empathetic to our puppy’s needs. Receptionists always friendly and don’t usually have to wait long to see the nurse or vet when you have an appointment

Absolutely the worst veterinary practice! They are only interested in hitting their targets ! I explicitly instructed the veterinarian, a young practitioner, to delay administering additional vaccinations for several weeks following my dog’s rabies vaccine. Despite my clear instructions, the veterinarian proceeded without my consent to administer a combination Lepto 4 and HTP vaccine. The following day, my dog exhibited severe symptoms, including bloody vomit and diarrhea, which they were linked to the unauthorized vaccinations. Furthermore, during an overnight stay at your facility my dog received inadequate care. Upon our arrival at 11:00 AM on Sunday, the veterinarian on duty demonstrated a lack of knowledge about my dog’s condition and medication history from the previous day. Instead of addressing these critical details, the veterinarian prioritized recommending a general anesthetic for an ultrasound scan, which I found inappropriate given the lack of clarity about my dog’s prior treatment. When I requested to see my dog, I was appalled to find him in an unacceptable state, covered in feces and clearly neglected, having not been taken outside for over 24 hours. This caused my dog significant distress, as he was visibly uncomfortable and in need of relief. Due to the evident lack of proper care and oversight, I made the decision to remove my dog from your facility and take him home. The level of care provided was wholly inadequate and fell far below the professional standards I expect from a veterinary practice. The unauthorized administration of vaccines, failure to maintain accurate records of my dog’s treatment, and neglect during his stay have caused both my pet and me considerable distress.
