Animal house always puts the welfare of your pet at the centre of all they do. They do not push extras on you in terms of up selling. They understand the costs involved of keeping pets and that the best outcome is the health and well-being of your pet and that as pet owners we need to provide a loving home where our pets are healthy and happy. The staff here really care, they are so friendly, considerate and professional too. It's really lovely to know our pets are so well looked after....and as humans we are too :) Thank you Animal house for all that you do :)

Unfortunately, it's not the best time to review as our cat was very ill at the time of my visit. Very accommodating staff at the front desk and the vet was lovely too. Our cat was so ill that we had to put her to sleep. The vet and staff were very respectful. We had taken KitKat to the right place for the best help she could receive.

Would never use or recommend this practise. My poor cat was examined, blood test etc yet the didn’t spot she had a tumour on her tongue. I had to go to PDSA for diagnosis and sadly lose my baby. DISGUSTING WAY TO TREAT ANIMALS. DO NOT USE !!!!!!!!!!

I recently visited Animal House Veterinary Surgery for an animal health and export health certificate, including rabies vaccination, as required for international travel with pets. During the consultation, I provided all necessary documents, including my pet's UK import health certification, pet passport, and travel dates. I discussed the requirements with a lady veterinarian, who then consulted with another colleague. However, she concluded that she could not issue the export certificate and suggested seeking it from another vet. A crucial point of discussion was whether our cat needed an annual booster for rabies vaccination, given that the previous vaccination was still valid. The vet confirmed that no additional rabies vaccination was necessary for another year. Based on this advice, we chose not to vaccinate our cat at that time and paid for the consultation. However, we later discovered an error: our previous rabies vaccination was only valid for one year, as clearly stated in our UK import health certification. This oversight by the vet resulted in a significant loss of approximately 3000 USD, as we are now unable to travel with our cat as planned. Because the minimum time to have rabies vaccination is less than our arranged travel date. This experience raises serious concerns about the reliability and thoroughness of the service provided. If a veterinarian's advice and document review are less accurate than what I could discern myself, it undermines the trust and purpose of professional consultation. This misadvice has cost us not only financially but also disrupted our travel plans. Based on this experience, I definitely do NOT recommend Animal House Veterinary Surgery. Please avoid them to not lose your time and money. It's disheartening to encounter such unreliability in professional veterinary care.
