Would give zero stars if I was able to. Just asked for assistance for the appropriate disposal of a baby squirrel who had passed away. Numerous vets have assisted us kindly in the past with wildlife. The vet nurse took the carrier into the back and when talking to someone else was heard to say while laughing ‘baby squirrel…we can do a post mortem!’ When challenged that this was inappropriate and unprofessional she laughed and said ‘we were just messing about’. Incredible lack of professionalism and empathy. I expect the poor little thing who fought so hard to live has just ended up in the bin and I question what is said about domesticated pets when their owners are out of earshot. Appalling!

The entire team at Chessington Vet Surgery are exceptional. From start they were friendly and welcoming. They saw my cat, Tiger, really quickly and looked after him beautifully. Aurobind, the vet who saw Tiger, was absolutely brilliant, he was calm and professional. I got the impression he will always do the best for the animal in his care, while at the same time looking out for the owners, ensuring they are also looked after. On the whole I could not recommend them enough.

I wasnt sure if i should leave a review, but i really did not have a great experience today. Last week saw a brilliant vet who i found out was just filling in, id give her 5*. My cat was hissing and in a lot of pain after banging her leg, and the vet still checked her with confidence, making sure she didnt have any worse injuries. Today I went in, similar issue with limping but different cat, same hissing obviously due to pain and the dog outside the door. Vet didnt touch him or examine him at all and displayed no confidence in trying. I told her i was worried about his back in case he hit that and not his leg, she said maybe bring him back and they'll sedate and examine him if hes still in pain after 24 hours at extra cost. I only have experience where vets are confident and can handle cats.l so today came as a disappointment. Hes a lovely boy and not violent, he was obviously in pain. I do feel really disappointed 😞 and upset for my cat who after nearly £100 spent did not get seen properly.
