Vet was so gentle and knowledgeable about my kitten. Everyone is so friendly and I love the way they treat my cat. I definitely think everyone should come more often

Daisy was spayed at Vets4Pets a few days ago, the staff were great, very informative and reassuring, especially as Daisy never leaves my side so I was very anxious for her. Her scar is healing well and is so tiny!

Recently registered with Vets4Pets Stevenage and all staff from receptionists through to Vets and Nurses are so friendly and kind. Our new fur babies are well looked after and their complete care plans makes sure they have everything they need. The text reminders are helpful aswell. Thank you Vets4Pets

I'm really sad to be posting this review, as I have been a customer of Vets4Pets Stevenage for the last 7+ years. Firstly I'd like to say that the individual veterinarians and Vet nurses at this practice are fantastic. I have got no issues with them and never have done. They've always looked after my cats well, taken their time to provide good care and explain things to me. However, the reasons for my poor review and ultimately for leaving this practice after 7 years and signing up to a different practice now are: 1. I've reached my limit dealing with one particular receptionist (I won't name), who everytime I spoke to, either in-person or on the phone, was very rude and miserable towards me, made me feel rushed to get off the phone, and at times, made me feel like I was a nuisance, even though I'm a paying and loyal customer just trying to do what is best for my animals. Whenever i brought my cats in for an appointment and this particular receptionist was working, they just came across as so miserable, with a face like a smacked backside everytime I saw them. They never said hello or made me feel welcome whenever I came to the practice, and particularly when I had to call several times to chase up the progress of insurance claims or blood results etc. Because i would have zero updates along the way otherwise. 2. The business of this practice is terrible. Any time I called to chase for blood results because I'd been waiting to hear anything for over a week or more, or for the progress of an insurance claim, I got told repeatedly "we're short staffed today", and as much as I can sympathise for the individual staff that were clearly under pressure, it's not my problem! I'm a paying customer, it's their responsibility to sort that out. It was like listening to a stuck record for months on end about the shortage of staff. 3. Considering they kept repeating on about how they are short staffed, they continue to allow new patients to sign up - why?? If you can't provide a good service for your current customers because you're short staffed or whatever, stop taking on new ones! Simple rules of business! I have no idea who is the manager of this particular branch but they are obviously incompetent at running a practice efficiently as a business. 4. By the end, I was made to feel like as long as they got my money, then the customer service pretty much stopped there. I still have an outstanding insurance claim I needed them to process for me, I put in that claim almost 4 weeks ago and have had absolutely zero correspondence from them about it even though I chased it the other week and got told by my 'favourite receptionist' we're busy and short staffed again and we will get round to it when we can... They only have one person in the whole practice who does the insuramce claims - again, why? Why not train some of the receptionist staff to also help with the paperwork? It's just blows my mind how this practice is organised. I've since cancelled my care plan and transferred my cats to a new local practice where I hope I will be treated far better as a customer. I am really sad it came to this but enough is enough for me.

Unfortunately we had to put our beloved chuck down this morning. We rang up and the vets gave us an appointment really quick and told us to come in within half an hour. We dealt with a woman called Isobel who usually doesn't work there but she was a real professional and saint and above all she was honest with us. Our cat was hit by car we believe and she believed he had a broken leg and hip. She gave us payment options and was totally honest about the cost of things if we had continued with surgery, medication and physical therapy etc and she also mentioned that it would be a long road to recovery and it was never a hundred percent he would’ve recovered and how it might not be a great quality of life for him. We all decided it was best to put him to sleep. She was very compassionate and very patient with us gave us all the time we needed to say our goodbyes explained everything in detail and cost wise. So we’re thankful we dealt with her today Just a little bit of advice you guys might need to do a little bit of sound proofing because when we were saying our goodbyes in the room all emotional. We could hear you guys all giggling and laughing. Beilive it or not we actually found it a little bit funny and it did lighten the mood for us but it might not be the case for other customers. Thanks a lot for your time Isobel. today you made a really heard decision a little bit easier for us (We know you wasn’t laughing at us we just thought we should mention it)
