The practice is open six days a week, from 8:00 am to 7:00 pm on weekdays and from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm on Saturdays, ensuring accessibility to those with busy schedules. The veterinary practice has dedicated professionals with vast interest, divided into two departments, veterinary surgeons, and veterinary nurses. The veterinary surgeons have over 50 years of experience in caring for animals, with qualifications such as BVM&S MRCVS, BVetMed BSc MRCVS, and BVSc MRCVS. In addition, Dr. Rachel Edmondson, who has a BVSc MRCVS qualification, is a consultant known for her expertise in matters regarding pets’ nutrition and welfare.

The veterinary nurses at Gayton Veterinary Group complement the team of surgeons, ensuring that the animals receive the best possible care and attention; they consist of Miss Annabel Bangham, the head nurse with a RVN qualification, and three additional skilled nurses with RVN qualifications. The team prides itself on its excellent knowledge and response to the animals’ care needs, whether it be chronic or acute health conditions.

The veterinary practice offers a range of facilities, ensuring the excellent care of all resident pets and the convenience and comfort of their owner. The facilities include an open practice, making it available for pets to get the necessary attention at weekends, a client car park, allowing the owner’s car to be parked for the visit duration, disabled public access for easy accessibility, and the practice’s interests, such as being a cattery, allows pets to be boarded while their owners are away for short periods.
