Brilliant vets saved my dogs life in 2021 at half the price of another vets. He had eye removed Dec 2025 received excellent care . Even my cat doesn’t mind going

Had to take my dog to an emergency appointment on Saturday afternoon. We were greeted by a lovely nurse, who had put on the air con for Bert, due to him being stressed and his breed (it was also a hot day). We saw Alex (vet), and wow, such a gentle and kind young lady and was so good with Bert, we both felt at ease. Cannot recommend Henlow Vets enough, thank you to you both.

5 stars are not enough to describe it! We received such incredible care for Ivor during his inpatient stay. He was looked after by 5 vets and 3 nurses and each one was incredible. My sister and brother-in-law are vets and whenever they suggested something to be extra thorough it had actually already been done by the team at Henlow Veterinary Hospital. Each person was caring, thorough and explained things so well. We loved the phonecalls from our lovely weekend nurse to update us on him and it really brought us comfort. She clearly got to know and understand Ivor in a short space of time and did extra thoughtful things to make him comfortable. The whole team were apologetic about the costs of vet care but honestly for their skills and experience I think it is more than deserved and reasonable. My sister mentioned the costs are lower at this independent practice than they are at her corporate practice in a much cheaper part of the UK. We will never forget the team for saving our little dog who is like a family member to us. We highly recommend the practice. Thank you Henlow Veterinary Hospital you are awesome. Picture of Ivor on his return home, having eaten, drunk, toileted, played and had his medications! Back to his usual self it seems and we very much hope.

I love this practice. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. The vets remember Lando. Having an out of hours hospital is just amazing. It’s so reassuring knowing that if we have an emergency, he will be seen by vets who have access to to his full history.

Henlow vets are truly wonderful. They treat your pets like they are their own pets and I think this makes a huge difference to the level of care they give. I always know we're in safe hands when we visit with our Labrador. Thank you for being epic. ❣️

We were extremely concerned about our young tortoise and as soon as we reached out to Henlow Vets we were reassured that he would be triaged and seen as soon as possible. We weren’t a member, and within 5 minutes of walking through the door our tortoise was being seen to. The receptionists were great and the vet was outstanding, very calm, compassionate and professional, able to answer any questions we had. A very sincere thank you to the whole team for their help. Cannot rate highly enough.

Our puppy has been signed up to Henlow vets since we got her, they have always been brilliant with an initial health check when we first got her, and then a monthly parasite treatment review. The staff are always friendly and make a big fuss of the pets visiting to make it a comfortable environment. We also had a laparoscopic spay done by Henlow Vets, and they were amazing with the procedure and advice after, our pet was back to normal pretty much the next day! Would highly recommend.

I want to share a huge thank you to our amazing vets, who have always made us feel completely reassured that my two cats are in the best possible hands. Every visit has been calm, caring, and professional. But this past Friday truly showed just how compassionate the team is. Before her appointment, my cat had a seizure and became extremely distressed, even urinating in her carrier. My partner had to bring her in while also looking after our toddler, and the staff immediately stepped in to help (apologies we didn’t get their name). They not only cared for our cat with such gentleness, but they also cleaned both her and the carrier so she could go home more comfortable and clean. This small act made an enormous difference during an incredibly stressful moment. A heartfelt thank you to the staff member who helped him, your kindness made the situation so much easier for our family. We are genuinely grateful for everything you do. 🤍
