Letchworth Vets - Letchworth

Rang for an appointment at noon, was seen by 220 and problem resolved. Very friendly reception staff and absolutely great vet. A great little practice who should be applauded by their service!

Very caring vets, my dog Ziggy has been coming here since he was 9 weeks old and is now 13, he is always well looked after.

As with many of the reviewers here we have been using this vet practice for many years. I have no problem with the service, all the vets we see are great, but since being taken over by IVC, a corporate profit driven company, prices are extortionate and disproportional. Find an independent if you can.

Phoned at 11.00, seen at 11.40. Extremely friendly vet, interacted with our dog, took detailed history, examined, diagnosed and administered anti sickness injection. Advice given on what to do if deteriorated. Advice on upgraded Pet Health Plan, which we took. Phoned by practice later to initiate the latter. Our dog recovered very quickly. Back to his cheeky self. Thank you.

Oreo is building up his trust with going to the vets after a bad experience. Jake has been amazing with him spending time reassuring him .Just seeing Oreo’s confidence building up trust agian makes really happy. We cannot thank Jake enough.

The vets working here have a real love for the animals they treat. My cats are always calmed and given attention. The cat stand helps immensely.

Good vets, lovely caring attitude but also quick and professional. Waiting area offers the ability to separate cats and dogs, and you can see in through a window to see what animals are in the waiting area before you enter. Parking directly outside too so the logistics of a visit is good. Opening hours are also handy at times when other vets are closed - main reason we switched from our original vet.

Been with this vets for over 20 years. Always found them helpful and professional. We just had our cat euthanised , Chris was outstanding in the care shown to my son to help come to terms with the process. Thanks Chris

10/10 Recommend!! I rescued my dog just over 2 months ago, he’s vary wary of new people so as you can imagine vet visits are very much fun for him. Well that was until we started confidence classes weekly, he met with a lovely nurse called Tara who has been gaining a great bond with Jango to the point he gets excited when she comes out to get us from the waiting area which is a massive improvement. Hopefully with continued visits he’ll be able to get the help he needs without the worry of meeting someone new!

I saw the vet Jane for the 1st time yesterday with my dog, & she was fantastic. Not only was she compassionate & so kind, she totally put me at ease, & nothing was too much trouble. She was also so warm & caring with my dog. Another lovely vet at this practice, who show how much they really care for their patients & owners alike.
