Berry House Vets - Hitchin

We’ve used Berry House for all our pet care ever since we moved to Hitchin 24 years ago. They have taken great care of all our pets from regular check-ups to some pretty serious operations. Sally did a very tricky operation on our dog which he might not have survived, but he did. In their care afterwards, Charlotte was going to Sainsbury’s to buy him ham because he wasn’t eating anything else ❤️. Denise on the desk is always very friendly to us and our pets. There’s no hard sell of products or services, just honest and heartfelt care for the animals and their owners. Would not go anywhere else.

Berry House in Hitchin previously looked after our lovely Lab Max for 15 years so when we brought a new puppy into our home we immediately knew which vet practice we wanted to trust with him. The whole team are true animal lovers and you can tell how much they care for your pets. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Berry House is an exceptional practice. We have been with the practice for six years now and are always amazed at the level of service the provide. The vets and veterinary nurses are always kind, knowledgeable and extremely caring. The reception staff and admin team are wonderful and provide such a personalised service, somehow remembering our dog Obis name when they see him! They are also really accommodating to support appointments and the online booking system is so helpful! Would absolutely recommend to other pet owners.

No one loves the vet trip.....but the vet was great really understanding, thorough and put our mind at ease about my cats abcess on her back. The abcess had burst after puncture wounds became infected. Now healing well after 2 antibiotic shots.

Berry house vets and the Team there are fantastic With my Dog Ollie. They have looked after him from day one of going there and have done for many years. A massive thank you to all the Team, particularly Sarah Richardson our vet who has made Ollie so comfortable and has cared for him every step of the way. Sarah is always on call for Ollie and we can not thank her enough for her support throughout our tough times, when Ollie has been really poorly. Thank you for continuing to look after our little man.

What a lovely experience! First time at Berry House & all the staff from reception to nursing & vet were charming. All cost & options were explained clearly & without pressure. Our vet, Sarah, explained the procedures, her examination of each puppy and next steps. Our questions were answered clearly & pleasantly. Couldn’t ask for better consultation.

After ringing and speaking to Berry house vets I felt much better and the lady I spoke to was really understanding. Sometimes it’s all it takes to have your views listened too but very professional and polite. Thank you 🤩
