Staff are amazing with the animals they see. Reassuring to both pet and owners. Very thorough with their checks. I wasn't sure how my dog would react but she was as good as gold with them. Even when being weighed. Thankyou

I visited Bones yesterday and the whole experience was brilliant. First, I received a call from Stefan offering a quicker appointment, followed by Jayne at reception who kindly obtained my dog’s previous history records at super speed. Finally, Vet Erin was so kind, gentle and reassuring, and my dog took to her straight away. Everything was explained clearly, including treatment options and prices, and I never felt rushed or pressured. We came home with anti‑inflammatory medication and a clear plan. I’m really grateful for the care and compassion we received - highly recommend.

Last Friday my dog got his paw trapped on a wire, even though I managed to released his paw he couldn't walk. I call Boness Vets and they came to help me to bring him down from the hill. Thank you so much to the nurses who came to the rescue and looked after my dog so well. It gives me peace of mind that I can rely on my local Vet.

DO NOT TAKE THE PETS HEALTH CLUB PLAN. After paying for 3 years nearly they REQUIRED AN EARLY CANCELLATION FEE OF 60 pounds per per. This is a very idiotic way to take advantage of the people who pay for it. Feels like extortion to the finest. Absolute horrible service. It will not cover your day to day things that your pets need anyway. You end up paying too much for too little. I would say don’t take it.

Recently had our poor poochie put to sleep and the team were utterly fantastic. Very thoughtful, caring and supportive in making an extremely difficult decision. There was no pressure for anything, other than supporting us through a very emotional time, allowing us to not be pressured by a bill/invoice or other topics. We have loved this surgery compared to the Flitwick branch, so highly recommend for anyone who can make it to the Barton surgery.

Visited Boness vets for vaccinations for my two cats. I also obtained flea and worming treatment. This cost a jaw-dropping £270. Was also told at my appointment that my 9 year old cat would need dental treatment costing up to £1200. When I explained that I have 2 children and 6 pets to pay for on a limited income (I’m disabled with stage 4 cancer and two associated endocrine conditions) and couldn’t afford the procedure (which I also believe to be painful, dangerous for the cat and unnecessary) I was made to feel like an irresponsible person. The vet literally said I should have thought about how I was going to pay for my pets when taking them on (they are all well loved, insured and cared for). I genuinely feel that Boness are only interested in making profits and not in the well-being of animals or in the provision of good customer service. I would look elsewhere for an independent vet and would not recommend this corporate establishment.

If I could give this very superior veterinary practice 6 stars - I would, and they would be worthy of it! The care and attention they gave my very sick cat was beyond excellent. It was a miracle they managed to save his life. Post surgery, they have continued to give my Clarence-Albie top notch medical care, and my 2 dogs have now also benefitted from being treated by them. I do not think I have EVER been provided with such all round excellent service, and I’ve had pets for over 30 years!. They care! They really do! They even try to keep costs down as much as possible for you - which is unheard of from other practice's in this industry. Their Team are a magnificent group of people who not only give their very best to our pets, but us humans too. Surgeon, vets, nurses, reception staff - all working as one to give our pets the best care available - priceless. All these professionals are in-house, so there is no need to have to take your pets to other places for specialised treatment. I cannot stress enough how exceptional this practice and their staff are, and I am so grateful to them. Thank you so much.

My two kittens went into be spayed. The reception staff overheard me comforting my 3 year old son saying we would be back to collect them (he was scared they wouldn’t come home because last time we was at this branch we left without our darling Marvin as he didn’t make his car accident) The reception staff were amazing. They asked my son for his name and what our kittens names are. Promised to take pictures of them when awake and eating and send over to me. They even put FOA: of my son’s name in the subject of the email. This will be something I’m forever grateful for. The overall experience with my cats being spayed and process was amazing. I honestly would recommend Boness everyday of the week to pet carers!
