Bit dissapointed with Boness. Vets and staff are nice mostly but its expensive and lately I completed a hypoallergenic food card which I was told entitled me to a free one after buying 6. Needless to say that despite chasing they have not honored or done good on that. Currently exploring alternatives after 6 friends recommended Medivet. Edited after one of their staff members just sorted a solution for me quickly. Not sure why no one else could have done what she did but only fair to improve the rating after her efforts

Charged £62 for a check up consisting of a 5 second look at the dogs mouth and then rubbing his tummy for a minute and stretching out his rear legs. Then using Google to look at potential products to help with anxiety during fireworks… nearly £120 for that and some gel to soothe anxiety. They also didn’t have his records from the products we previously purchased that didn’t even work… asked for something stronger and the vet just didn’t listen and was adamant she wanted to use the gel again… very poor practice and an absolute rip off… won’t be using them again for anything like this.

Callum Brock is one of the best vets I’ve ever had and he really understands greyhounds as a breed. I would like to thank him for all he has done for my dogs over the past few years

From the moment I walked in every member of the staff I met were lovely and happy to go the extra mile! The vet who I saw, took time to make my very nervous dog, who is terrified of being at the vets, at ease, resulting in a thorough examination. Very happy with the whole experience.

Easy to get to. The appointment was at a time that suited me. This is part if a bigger practice in Barton ley clay. There is no on site parking but with tesco over the road parking is not an issue. The vet was lovely and it was nice to know she has cat's this tells me she has a greater understanding of the animal. The male assistant was very pleasent and the receptionist made some good suggestions regarding administering tablets. The only reason I have not given more stars is the cost of treatments, I have had many animals cats and dogs who have been registered at the practice, the cost of taking care of your pet has escalated.

Have been with Boness vets for about 30 yrs ,excellent service staff so helpful and friendly. All the vets are amazing. Even when the outcome is sad they deal with it with such sensitivity and care . I would highly recommend them.
