I am writing this review on behalf of my friend who is distraught about a cat he dropped off on Thursday night the 28th. My friend is the kindness person I know and he have 2 cats of his own. The cat he dropped off was coming to him for some time and he used to feed it and the cat made good friends with his cats and gave the cat tons of love. On Thursday he found it back leg to be badly injured, looking like a dog bite. He felt like this vet practice gave him quite of a bad attitude as if they suspect him being the abuser and someone who is trying to wiggle out of a vet bill. Yet the cat he dropped off as from my friend understanding was a stray cat and he offered to contribute to the vet bill and didn't planned to leave him with the vet, but he planned to keep the cat. When he called later on the next day he was brushed off and given no information about the cat whatsoever, people on the phone were claiming they can't give information about the cat and that the cat is going to the charity, not specific as for which one. They have disclosed that the cat will be with them for 1 week. I am not an expert, but I rescued some stray cats in my lifetime and vet always informed me about their recovery. As far as am aware is the cats which are microchipped vet don't enclose information about. This cat haven't been microchipped. So where my friend stands is exactly in the dark. He have lost a cat he loves and everyone in his household is missing it including him. I find this very disappointing and thought as for Milton Keynes and a place where animals welfare is a priority this would not have happened. I am really sad about this and hope both of them will be reunited. Cat's name is Paul and case number is : 4657532 The cat is black domestic short haired as breed.

Had to take our little guy, Bruce (2yr old French Bulldog) in for an emergency appointment at Milton Keynes, and the team were amazing. He moves fast and loves to eat anything that is dropped on the floor - in this case it was a painkiller! We arrived, and everyone was expecting us, no need to give details or anything like that, just the dogs name, and we were called in by the vet in less than 10 minutes. They had to make my poor boy sick, and take his bloods, which from hearing him in the waiting room he didn't like - but he must have been happy, as he didn't want to leave. Caroline, the vet who saw to Bruce's needs was very helpful and informative. And then there was Charley, the first face you see when you arrive and the last when you leave, she was the nicest, most sweetest and helpful person ever! Yes, it was expensive, but it was OOH - so what do people expect!? Bruce is insured so I'll probably get something back, but you cannot put a price on your pets life (he is a member of the family after all!). Thank you for all of your help and support team ❤️

Went in on an emergency appointment in Good Friday. Really appreciated this service. Had to wait a little while as expected but when seen the issue was quickly and very well taken care of. All at a reasonable price for a Good Friday emergency appointment moment. Well done.

Had to use these guys in the early hours of Monday morning, and have to say they were really reassuring on the phone but also were more than happy to welcome us in to check my dog over. The cost is a lot more than local vets out of hours initial cost which was a shock however as I wasn’t registered at at that local vets I couldn’t attend however these guys would see us no matter what and that’s what’s worth paying for! Thank you so much, the staff on the phone, reception and the vet were all very helpful. The check out easy and yes they charge another £35 for admin to help you claim (I don’t agree with that) but at least this way I’m likely to get my money faster and it was so easy to reply to the email and it’s done! Thanks for being a part of helping my dog get better and helping through a painful evening. 🙏🏻💛 Photo 1 sad and feeling sorry for himself to photo 2 happy back in his chair feeling better! 🥰

I attended after seeing my own vet on the Monday morning after my dog displayed symptoms of a problem that he had before Christmas. I attended Tuesday at 1am after he displayed distended tummy and labored breathing. We sat in the waiting room for twenty minutes whilst they dely with an emergency. I was asked before she examined him “are you sure you want me to look at him he looks fine” I said I’m very concerned, explained some back history. She examined him thoroughly and said he seems stable i can hear his heart clearly and his vitals are fine, we can take bloods and do a scan but you could take him your vets in 8 hours and it would be cheaper” I agreed to take him home. Long story he has declined is currently have a procedure on his heart. His heart has succumbed to damage due to pressure from fluid. To say I’m disappointed is a mild emotion. I’m devastated my dog has been in in-necessary pain since Monday which could have been picked up or listened better to the owner who knows their pet! I’ve spent £327 pounds o could have put towards his 600 scan. No pet owner has unlimited access to money and although we have insurance it’s paying upfront for these costs. More importantly my baby drowning in his own body fluids is the main point

Would not recommend. Was told on the phone that there will be a possibility of paying £320 for treatment of my cat, that's if he needed any. She didn't. All the vet did was check her eye and give her 3 eye drops and said to keep monitoring her for the next week. So I was like okay. Then the receptionist stopped me and told me to take a seat. They then called me up to pay bloody £380. My sister was the owner of the cat and he is o benefits and although I’ve been asked over the phone if we claim any benefits or not, the receptionist sat there and said there is nothing they can do. I have payed £100 as couldn’t afford more but they expect me to pay the rest. Don’t think so. For a 5 min visit and 3 drops this is beyond ridiculous. The nurses were very insistent to see them. The whole system needs sorting out. Appalling and outrageous!

We were worried as our dog had ingested a Christmas tart containing dark chocolate during the out of hours emergency period. We called first and they said to take her in, however, upon closer examination of the item she had consumed (from ingredients) they said she should be ok, and therefore only charged us for the active charcoal. We were so grateful for this kind decision, so please thank the team that was working 28.11.2025, as they couldn’t have been any more helpful.

Unfortunately my pet was taken into this vets after he was ran over by someone. And they rang to inform me. They had him for 2 weeks whilst i sorted his cremation through his insurance which was nice of them. But was not told there would be a £35 admin fee to fill up insurance papers. I spoke 3 different times with different people and was not once told about this also passed emails. However i contacted the main vets now and as a goodwill gesture they took the £35 off. Which was really thoughtful. I was then told they could give me a print of my cats nose - paws and fur to keep. I told them How it would be the best thing for me and id love to pick it up from them personally as i didnt live far. But i was reassured they will post it to me. Its been over 2 weeks, iv not got the prints or his fur. I rang to ask if they had sent it off and i was put on hold and then told it was sent 10 days ago. The lady on the phone told me to contact the courier service to ask where it is. Bare in mind they did not give me a tracking number or anything for me to do this, but when i asked which courier service she said she dosnt know. I felt my heart sink as this was the only thing i would have had left of him. I asked her to transfer me to the MK branch but she said as the person that posted it isnt in the office no one could answer the phone. I found this very upsetting and unprofessional. Its been in 16 days and i still havnt got anything through the post.
