Valley vets looked after Willow for 10 years and we never had any complaints with the care. However, when Willow broke her leg then we discovered she had cancer, we spent a lot more time in the vets. Primarily we were looked after by Katie and David who were both exceptional. David constantly provided his expertise in an honest, kind and professional manner. Katie was equally as professional and kind, she was such a joy to work with and Willow adored her. We felt well looked after and like we were leaving Willow in safe hands and more importantly, that they loved her and had her best interests at heart. Willows time came unexpectedly and we had to arrange an emergency home visit, Katie and the nurse came so quickly, comforted Willow and made her final moments one of calmness, love and peace. We couldn't have asked for a better experience, apart from not having to go through that of course. We knew that when Willow was taken away that she would continue to be treated with respect and love. Also, we found the reception staff and wider team absolutely amazing. Angie was a ray of sunshine throughout and we looked forward to going in for a catch up whenever we were in! They all loved and looked after Willow to the highest quality of care and made an exceptionally difficult time a lot easier. The dog biscuits on hand to encourage Willow to get weighed was also very convenient for bribery! Overall, we are so grateful for the team and their care and support. I've never known a dog excited to go to the vets but Vally Vets made that possible! Thank you team xxx

I will never deal with this practice again I found the veterinarian who put my pet to sleep very incompetent. When I took my pet to be put to sleep which is distressing enough, it was supposed to be a peaceful process however it turned out to be a stressful experience not just for us but also my pet. The vet who was putting my pet to sleep had to inset the IV not once, not twice but three times each time having to take my pet away to do this causing us unnecessary stress she kept saying my pet had pulled another one out, I don't know if she was a junior veterinarian or not. The second time she took out dog away we were asked to go outside for some fresh air while she was putting in the IV for a third time when she finally brought our pet back through, she was already gone even though we were told she wasn't. If you are putting your beloved pet to sleep, I would recommend finding another vet to do it. This doesn't reflect on any another member of staff as they were very helpful and respectful.

Deeply deeply disappointed in this practice after losing my dog in January. After 6 weeks of visits, calls, medications, bloods, scans and various diagnoses, I ultimately had to take her to Vets Now to be PTS. I feel I got no useful information from the vet and had to utilise Google to try and gather information on my dogs symptoms and how to approach these. After each visit/ call I felt more confused. I have foreign dogs and was absolutely appalled at the practices approach to brucellosis and the fact they personally will not treat an infected dog (my dogs are negative). What made this worse is I was not notified in advance of this practice prior to my dog being tested - therefore taking the option of moving to a different vet out of my hands. Foreign pet owners should, as a matter of course, be advised of Valley Vets policy on brucellosis testing and subsequent treatment. I feel I was guided to agreeing to certain practices while in such a vulnerable position. I was charged extra to 'fast track' the brucellosis blood test with no guarantee on how long it would take to be returned, which happened to be circa 3 weeks - horrendous when your dog has been 'diagnosed' with cancer. On diagnosis of bladder cancer I was told I could pay extra to have the scan sent to a 'specialist' for confirmation, which I agreed to.....2 days later my dog was dead, no specialist feedback was given. On a positive note, the reception staff were great, specifically Angie. I have now moved my other dogs to a small independent vet.
