Black Rock Vets are truly outstanding. We adopted an overweight, middle-aged beagle in December, and the team has been instrumental in his transformation. They’ve patiently answered my endless questions and provided expert guidance on his weight-loss journey. Unfortunately, we’ve had a few mishaps where he hurt himself, but we were always seen promptly and given top-tier care. Every staff member is lovely; it’s such a personal touch that they remember us during our weight clinic visits and celebrate his progress. He has lost over 4kg so far! Most recently, he underwent a dental cleaning and skin tag removal, and I felt total peace of mind knowing he was in such capable hands. I cannot recommend them highly enough.

Our dog had a very unfortunate accident whilst away from home for the day and required emergency care. The staff were friendly and reassuring when we initially called and were ready to take our dog straight into surgery when we arrived. Every member of staff we spoke to was lovely and you could tell they genuinely care for animals. Cost was not really a consideration when rushing our dog to the vets but the bill was so much more reasonable than we anticipated and we are so pleased with the responsiveness and level of care received. Mylo is recovering well thanks to this team. Can’t thank them enough.

Went with the dog and 2 cats today for a check up and flea and worming treatments. Caroline, Poppy and Leah were amazing, so helpful, kind, professional and knowledgeable. Thank you for making our visit so positive. Would highly recommend this practice.

Gareth and his team are fantastic. They were so caring when I suddenly lost my little dog last year. We now have a rescue from Romania, not many vets are ‘rommy friendly’ but I have experienced nothing but compassion for our little dog, from the lovely reception team, nurses and vets.

I wouldn’t trust this company to after a receipt of an appliance never mind help an animal. The receptionist is a rude cow, hanging up the phone after I explained I wasn’t paying a missed appointment which apparently back dated from 2023? Cough cough we are in 2026 🤣 I wouldn’t take my animals there even if it was the last veterinary practice on earth. All they care about is money, money, money, they’re running the place into the ground - would much rather have another pub in its existence. P.S don’t miss an appointment you’ll be charged 🤣 AVIOD AVIOD AVIOD AVIOD

They don't inform you when there is a error on their side. They expect you to sort it out as they contacted me 9 months later over a payment to which I didn't know about. I spoke to owner ( practice manager ) to which i found her totally obnoxious and they she spoke to me. I told her my wife had died last year of terminal lung cancer. My wife set up a care plan with them and when she died I took over to which I had informed them previously. Clearly this hadn't been done properly by them causing this problem. Then I was threatened from her im going to debt collectors in . So I paid and took my pet somewhere else overall they are not good.
