Very friendly staff and reassuring when I explained my dog is reactive to other dogs, they made sure we didn’t come face to face with another dog in the surgery.

I've been with Blake vets for years and years. I've seen a lot of excellent vets go and excellent new ones start. I trust them 100% with my dogs which is unlike me so it says a lot about the practice. The only thing I would change given the choice would for them to be an out of hours emergency practice but you can't have everything 🙂

I have been with Blakes Vets Burnham for many years now. My previous dog had several health issues and they cared for her until her 8th year when sadly cancer overcome her. My present beautiful girlie has now been with Blakes vets for 4.5 years. She is in good health and just had her ,Health check again along with her booster vaccine. Always well cared for. I Can always get an appt if needed. Very friendly staff. Well done.

Whilst holidaying, one of our JRT injured one of his front claws and was in a fair amount of discomfort. Blake Vets at Burnham fitted us in and after a quick examination advised he needed the claw to be removed but they couldn’t do it onsite. A call later and they had arranged for us to go down to their Bridgwater practice. When we arrived they were waiting and a few hours later we picked up a much happier Niko. Great team at this group. Professional and Caring. Many thanks from Adrian, Lisa, Zap, NIKO & Minnie xx

The vet, Stacy, greeted me and my dog in the reception area. She spent time making sure that both of us were at ease. She listened to me and was respectful of my thoughts about my dog. I felt that it was probably the best vet appointment we have had.

Genuinely shocked that after having our small dog going to this vet for 10 years, we get a invoice for £60 because we decided to cancel the Pet Plan. We contacted Blake Vets to ask how we change DD as we have changed bank, they told us that they just "give out the leaflets" and that it was for us to contact the provider. We had missed 1 payment at this stage because of the change in bank. We received a text message to tell us that if the next one failed we would be charged £10. Instead, upon review, we decided to cancel the plan. Today we get a bill for £60 for cancelling, without any warning, from the Vets. The bill was from Blake Vets and not the DD provider. You should also be aware that the provider that Blake vets use is one of the only ones in the UK that DO NOT charge a fee for missed DD's. So Blake Vets have decided to add this fee themselves. The attitude we was met with was enough to move vets after 10 years. Absolutely money grabbing. That is what you get for paying in advance for a plan just in case you use what it inlcudes. Money spinner, thats all. For some reason I thought that this was a 'local vets', but upon digging a bit further, it appears that PetHealthClub (who they give out leaflets for at the vets) is also owned by the owners of Blake Vets - "INDEPENDENT VETCARE LIMITED" who operate tons of vets. So no, they do not just give out leaflets, they share the same umbrella company. Infact in 2024 the Pet Health Club is quoted as bringing in £175.6 Million to INDEPENDENT VETCARE LIMITED. Which is over £30million more that the year before, 2023.

My dog is a Romanian rescue. At times he becomes very scared and insecure. The vets here know how to handle his phobias and a visit to them almost becomes enjoyable for Beck. They have looked after his medical needs since I had him at 6 months old, he is now a very healthy 6 year old. From a dog mums point of view excellent vets, and I would not go anywhere else. Great team, great vets . Keep up the good work . Best of all your fur baby can have a great run in the park ( if at Burnham branch) Afterwards.
